Nice visuals! I think the level design needs a little more thought into it. The core gameplay is nice but there was a blind jump/jumps, You have to wait a long time for moving platforms (It's just something I personally don't like). But I like the vision.

Nice platformer! It felt quite easy and the pixel art is really good. Would have been great if in the end we could see our pictures imo.

classic platformer. Should've explored that picture mechanism more to make it feel more unique

Submitted(+1)

Pretty classic , A little bit more of inovation would be great . And for the graphics , it's clean but my only complains about it are moving platforms dans don't really fit with the rest , but still great that you've made it .

Nice little platformer!

Some feedback: The controls felt a bit sluggish and slow. also the sfx where very 8bit-ish and not that pleasant especially the jump sound.

Art looked really nice! overall good submission I still enjoyed.

Great job!

I love the art! Nice job!

Good game. I haven't seen a lot of platformers in the jam, so I'm glad you made one. I liked the background and the parallax effect a lot. Overall, a great game :)

I like the concept of the photography mechanic but I wish it was more present throughout the game. You could definitely expand on the idea of having to take pictures but incorporate it as a platforming mechanic (maybe things appear/disappear when you take the picture).

Great game overall! Would love to see more grows to your projects >o<

Story

1 ... Fast forward, Skip button, location at center

Visuals

1 ... camera doesn't fit well together with world elements (vector high res with px art)

2 ... invisible character after jumping behind tree (is this intentional?)

3 ... dirt tiles are not continues (you see lines between them)

4 ... I love px art but game would require some tuning

Sound

1 ... tune a little

2 ... add OST/bg sound which runs all the time

Bugs

1 ... Visible: I am able to do double jump & see under trees (top screen)

Design:

1 ... Interesting camera screenshot concept, if you build gameplay & story around that that would be perfect

I love the art

Great art direction, though the gameplay could use more depth

This often demanded leaps of faith by having the end of a jump completely out of frame. Not moving the camera up as much would probably help!

i had fun jumping on the platforms. jumping feels a bit floaty but i actually liked the snappy movement and skipping multiple moving platforms thanks to the high jump! XD

Submitted(+1)

Nice one! I would probably speed up the platforms a bit because I am really impatient :D

Submitted(+1)

Was fun to play through. I didn't fully understand the picture taking aspect though

Submitted(+1)

i am so impatient i must've died five times over trying to speed run, the overall composition of the game is really good, it feels coherent, the pixel resolutions are a bit off, that being said, you did great at putting together a world that felt immersive!

Interesting lore. the art looks nice, only I think the mixels and mixed art style take away from it a bit. overall solid game.

Nice theme and SFX. The only glaring issue for me is heavily visible mixels on the assets, especially randomly rotated enemies?

very chill and cozy game, I can see how can it be addictive
could use more difficult levels, also in a game where I take picture being told my pictures will never be seen is kinda sad xD
