How does the game fit the theme?
The theme is mainly about the visuals of the game and units, you are controlling a strange colony being invaded.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Icons from asset packs, that's all.
Everything otherwise is from scratch (code, musics, sfx, 3d models)
How many people worked on the game?3

This was really good. I'm usually not huge into ecenomy/tower defense type games, but this one hooked me. It was super easy to understand, which I appreciate a lot. The tutorial did a great job explaining the basics without overwhelming me. I never felt lost.
I really liked the rouguelite structure too. Starting simple with a small set of buildings and then slowly introducing new ones through the card picks felt great. It gave me the freedom of deciding between introducing new structures or just focus on what I have now. And then having the permanent upgrades between runs, once I felt comfortable, was a nice layer on top. I definitely went population upgrade first lol.
The visuals fit everything well, animations were smooth, and the SFX when placing buildings felt nice and chunky. This was a really good good, great job on this one, seriously.
Thanks a lot for the detailed comment, we really appreciate it.
We’re glad the tutorial and overall flow of the game worked well for you.
That kind of feedback means a lot to us. 💚💚
this is impressive for a game jam. good job. it look very polished.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it. 💚
Nothing like a good ol’ tower defence game to play after work. Nicely done!
Thanks a lot! 💚
Glad you enjoyed it after work 🙂
Geez that is a lot to add in 7 days. I've made roguelike / tower defense games before and it is no light task. Impressive amount of depth and fun, with just a tiny bit more polish I could see this being a commercial release. Great job!
Thank you, something I really want to polish and push to release
I really enjoyed playing this. I love tower defense games, and the combination with roguelite elements was a great touch. Keep going!
Thank you! 💚 We’re glad you enjoyed it.
This is a concept we definitely want to keep developing and refining.
Thanks for playing!
This game is really cool looking, even though I'm not really good at this kind of game, it's still a really fun game.
Thank you, and if you have fun this is the goal even if you are bad or good its ok
I enjoy a lot this game. Thanks for the tutorial! It is so important in this type of game and your tutorial was perfect. I was going wild. I wish there was no building limit, I would like to fill al that empty space with my kingdom. Super good game!
Ahaha thannk you !
So maybe stay updated about the game because we are probably going to add logistic into the game later on, so you can really have your mini city
wow! there is a lot of depth here, I like having to manage the different resource buildings and units feels like a StarCraft tower defence. being able to unlock upgrades for future runs is nice too feels like making meaningful progress, I can see myself sinking a few hours into this game for sure! nice job :D
Ah that’s awesome, thanks a lot! 💚💚
We’re glad the resource management and upgrades clicked for you.
Super happy you enjoyed it.
That was very impressive. A very solid tower defense (is it still tower defense if its units, not towers? King-is-Watching-like?). Meta progression was a nice surprise, its nice to have those in a roguelite game. I do feel a bit weird about not letting you build resource production buildings until you get a blueprint for a building that utilizes the resource. Made me do a double take when I picked iron forge early on. I do believe early runs tilt a bit towards just picking unit upgrades, because searching for all the parts for a better unit to fill your population limit can be much harder. Overall, really enjoyed it, great work!
Thank you, that really means a lot! 💚
And yes ! The King is Watching was definitely a big inspiration for us 😄
That’s very fair feedback about the blueprint system and early-game balance.
We’re still experimenting with ways to make early choices feel less restrictive.
Really appreciate you taking the time to write this!
My favorite game that I played so far. The balance has come a long way. The production buildings helped give the players more choice and less of a feast or famine compared to hoping your units' AI group effectively and not ignore the enemies.
Wow, that’s awesome to hear, thank you! 💚
We spent quite some time tweaking the balance, so it’s really nice to know the production buildings made the experience feel better and more consistent.
Thanks for playing and for sticking with the updates!
Really fun game! Feels like satisfactory mixed with balloons tower defense, good job :D
That’s an awesome comparison, thanks! 💚
We had a lot of fun mixing automation and tower defense elements together. Glad you enjoyed it!
Great entry! A very nice (and challenging) tower defense!
Congrats!
Thanks a lot, we really appreciate it!
We’re glad you enjoyed the challenge.
Thanks for playing!💚
This was a really fun game! The resource management was actually kinda complex, I hadn't realized I'd been eating up my light ore until I was producing so many ironblooms haha. Real good stuff, I also enjoyed the bot designs
Thanks a lot! 💚
Glad you had fun with the resource management system, things can escalate quickly 😄
Amazing job guys! I don't usually play tower defense games but I started this and suddenly half an hour had passed. Since I'm not used to the genre I appreciated the tutorial in the beginning, it made it easy to get into! Good luck in the jam :)
Really glad that you played all that time, it means that maybe we did something good thank you !
I played this game more time that I am willing to admit.
I think it has no end? And theres a point in witch I think it's not posible to win; I reached the 21 orde.
I would preffer if 3d characters had any kind or corretalion with the icons but I understand that in a jam you focus on having it all working right, I think you did a good job!
Thanks for your time !
For now yes not really, we really want to work on the meta progression maybe level based like the king is watching
Yes for the icon we didn't really had a 2d artist, but this will be one thing in the improvments.
I really like tower defences and this game is very good. Sound design and mechanics is really great and gameplay is enjoyable.
Thank youuu, we are probably going to continue it after the jam
Great music design and very captivating a clear tutorial helps the player get straight into the gameplay loop which is comprehensive with lots of meta progression elements and strategic choices to be made! Had a fun time with this, it would be great to see more clarity on what a player is missing in terms of upgrades that would prevent you from building an unlock
Thankss, yes I think a binding of isaac like interface could be nice for this
Wow this is a really cool game. I cant believe you built something with meta progression in a week! You should feel really proud of this entry!
This and the tutorial are probably the two things that took us the most time
Very enjoyable despite the rough edges, the sound design is cool but careful on sound spamming ! the healers spamming between the waves for instance :/ ...
Thank you, we will see if we can fix that
It was very engaging. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of meta progression in tower defense games, but it's still interesting to play =)
Thanks, I guess we need to find the best meta progression system
