  • Interesting biblical-themed puzzle game. Though for some reason, the game gets creepier and creepier, especially at the final level, and yet it turns back to that holy golden feel at the ending. I am super confused. The game is really intriguing. It reminds me of Rooms: The Toymaker's Mansion a lot with the room-moving mechanics. Really cool, and I think there are loads of possibilities. The puzzles are well-made too, though I think for some of the jigsaw puzzles the image got blocked by the room frame and is really hard to figure out which should goes where. The worst offender is the last level. But overall, I think this is quite a solid entry, and you all did a fantastic job making the game!

Other things I like:

  • Nice hand-drawn graphics
  • Cutscene before and after the game
  • Lots of levels

Suggestions:

  • The controls, namely using M to toggle movement and rooms is a bit strange. I would suggest using the right mouse button so that you don't need to move your hand away from the mouse for that single key press
  • Maybe allowing W for jumping too, I don't know, this feels more natural
  • The story and scenery need a bit more explanation, as it's a bit cryptic right now. Going through the airport, factory, and some mysterious hard place?
  • Some sound effects for the actions (lever, room movement, correctly assembling an image) would make the game feel more polished

Nice game! The puzzles on the 3rd type of levels are so pretty!

Beyond the brilliant gameplay, I have to mention the world-building. Every map, platform, object, and character design feels like it belongs to a cohesive world. It’s not just a bunch of random assets thrown together to fill space. You can tell every single piece of art was created with its own intent. Great job!

Incredibly cool concept.I wish there was more feedback when doing that final puzzle with the purple veins, I could barely tell when I had something in the right spot,I spent enough time on it that I ended up quitting. But the rest of the levels were clever, and I had fun working on them

Sorry that happened, we didn't have enough time with the final level to fully polish it out but we are glad you still enjoyed the rest of the game!

Incredible! I think this one is the longest I've played out of anything in the jam! By far my favorite one now.

Very innovative concept combining both the puzzle and platformer genres. We like where the narrative is going and how it plays into the theme.  Good start for a game jam. The puzzles can get quite tricky sometimes, but that is just how it goes. The last stage is kinda diabolical, but a challenge is a challenge. Who does not love that?

However, we sometimes find it difficult to differentiate platform and background, so increasing color contrast via hue, value, and/or saturation would be nice.

The puzzles are very interesting and good concepts in theory, but you should play-test your game with some friends/family who don't know about your game. Because we were able to bypass the whole puzzle part of the game and skip certain steps that I feel you intended to have (In stage 1 of the wind chapter, I moved the exit gate right next to me). Good Luck <3

Wow, this game has something really special! I love the concept of a puzzle platformer in which the platforms themselves are part of a greater puzzle. You did an excellent job of teaching the player and progressing difficulty, and I felt really satisfied upon completing the game. Great music too. Kudos! <3

Creative concept, I like the puzzles. Overall vibe is pretty nice!

Very fun combination of puzzle and platformer. Won't lie I could not figure out the last level at all

Nice art style!

This was actually so fun, also loved how you implemented the worldbuiding with the design choices. If I had to nitpick though I would say I got confused about the clearity of the art in some places, but then again to just finish this ammount of content in just 7 days is incredible.

Once the level section movement mechanic clicked for me I was enjoying the challenge of placing myself carefully to move a section where it needed to be, there was one bit though on maybe level 5 where I jumped onto the teal CCTV looking platform and got stuck on top of it unable to move just so you are aware

Sorry this happened to you. Some of the collisions could've been tested more thoroughly but some things just slip through the cracks sometimes. Glad you enjoyed the game regardless!

Really great work, especially in the game design and core concept. Congratulations for making an awesome game!

So, well done, I had a great time playing. The art is wonderful and l really liked how the background art blends as you move the different pieces.

Really fun to play! Some of the levels were a bit tricky too, which I enjoyed. And the art is fantastic!!

Very cool concept, and fun to solve the puzzles too! All backed up with some great art and music.

Only minor complaint was that it was occasionally hard for me to figure out which sides of the frames were open/blocked - otherwise it's an excellent game!

I like the atmosphere of the game, very ethereal - which definitely fits the game! Cool idea with moving the environment around like puzzle pieces. I enjoyed this :)
