How does the game fit the theme?
Jumping between worlds ends up putting you in some strange places, mostly mechanically

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Three out of four tilesets, most of the sound and music. I also drew over a template for the player animation

I like the visuals. However, I got game overs far too quickly without really understanding why. Maybe the difficulty level is too high? Otherwise, nice use of music. Nice job.

Love your game! You did a great job.  As others have already said, main menu animation is beautiful.

I really like this game alot! It reminds me of what I want my game to be. With my game, I did want each universe you enter to have its own tile map, like you I wanted to make them myself, but unlike you I didn't bite the bullet and just take some when I ran out of time. regaurdless I really liked the game you made! I had alot of fun mashing the new relm button whenever things got bad, and really enjoyed the sound and look of the Realityrazer as it got closer. Though I do wish the realityrazer killed you instantly when it got you due to how intimidating it is, though I understand why thats not the case.

Such a cool game, the visuals are stunning and the movement feels great!

Others have said it, but its work reiterating, phenomenal job with the visuals. The menu graphic, the character animation, the votex, the tilesets and backgrounds, all of it is really well done. Overall, the game was a little too hard I think. The controls weren't very intuitive and seemed like it really relied too much on luck that the world you were shifting into would have something to jump onto. I had a couple times where I went to I think three worlds and none had anything to jump to which feels bad/hopeless. That said, the times when I had some luck and one world flowed into the next, the game played really well and again, visually was really stunning. Great job!

What a beautiful game, just wonderful. A really creative game mechanic and very responsive controls. A really great game. My only issues were with the controls, they are not very intuitive and just made me want wasd so much more. Otherwise, it was super fun and very well made, particularly the tutorial, i dont usually expect such a thorough and well made tutorial from a jam game but that one was very well done. Awesome job.

the main menu is actually beautiful, the fact that you were able to put out a finished animation like that in a week is very impressive! the gameplay is fine and fits the theme, though it was really hard to get a grasp on the controls as theres so much stuff being introduced to the player at a very fast rate. otherwise a very cool project!

holy visuals! i really liked the artstyle in this one, the animations feels really smooth, and it's a really neat concept I've played quite a while and got a pb of 50430! sadly the game restarted before i could print :(
as your first submission you nailed it!
if your willing to hear, i have a critique tho. I think that  in the start the game should be a little more forgiving, just enough to give the player time to really graps on the controls, but besides that, i really liked what you've made!
great job!

Love the visuals, the opening animation in particular is beautiful!

amazing intro animation well done!
very weird control scheme though, please use something standardized (also avoid y or z because they have swapped places on some keyboard layouts)
tip for the tutorial: to continue make the player perform the action you are teaching them instead of pressing some unrelated button

Graphics are very good esp main menu, controls could be better th constant pausing to explain mechanics was throwing off my jumps and switching reality

But interesting game I'll have to plug in my controller and come back to it.

Great visuals! I agree with some of the other people that the game is a bit difficult sometimes I'd have no place to go in the world I'm in, so I'd switch but still be left with no place to go. Great game though especially for it being your first time!

Cool game! I found it quite difficult, having the game pause after reality switching would be a big help for me.

The visuals are really good but the gameplay is really hard to grasp at first. I think with just a bit of gameplay tweaking and some better tutorials it would be quite compelling right off the bat. The biggest thing is just that it feels luck based, you could do everything right but a gap could just be too big after you change worlds there is nothing you could do(at least within a normal reaction time)(I might just be bad at it, idk). Nonetheless good game and Impressive for your first jam.

I don't even know where to start talking about this game's visuals, especially the main menu art / animation, it's really good!! The gameplay itself I personally think it's a little bit complicated but you get it with time (My highscore is around 5043 points lol, I tried my best). In general, really unique experience I'd say

Loved the visuals, but the jump mechanics was a bit confusing since you don't know what world you'll change into. Very impressive nonetheless

The art and audio were really cool! The main game mechanic was compelling. It was a little difficult which made it hard to totally explore the mechanic but the idea of rifting between multiple worlds was really interesting!

This was amazing! Loved the art and the concept, found the controls and gameplay a  bit difficult right from the start - amazing job for a solo team
