Nice game!

Limiting movement like this really creates a unique play experience. Well done!

Really cool mechanic! Hopefully you will update this in the future! I liked the background which was constantly moving

Really neat idea with cool visuals! I think coyote time and jump buffering would do a lot here, but still had a fun time!

Nice concept, my keyboard doesn't let me use mi arrow keys so it's a little bit difficult to play the game, but I liked how it looks, if you could put a light to the flag it'd be better

Remind me the old die and retry game. The trick to not being able to change your speed is really interesting !

for smoother control you can make down arrow doing the same as space, to allow playing with one hand only

Feel free to test our game :)

The level design was great, I really enjoyed it! But it took me a while to get used to the controls.

Really cool concept! Very big Geometry Dash / The Impossible Game / Super Meat Boy vibes with this one. I kinda wish the cycle were fixed and that it reset with every attempt, this way going through the game becomes more consistent and almost like going for the perfect attempt. I also think it would benefit from using a mouse click for the jump!

Lovely submission, congrats for finishing the jam! Check out my game if you want!

I really enjoyed the platforming here, like a memory and rhythm game wrapped into one!

really weird, movement, but i like it! almost has a puzzle feel to it.

now go enjoy the other games :D

I actually think splitting out movement from direction made for a really interesting platforming experience, especially the drop at the bottom of the second stage where you have to stop midair to fall straight down, and the next section at the top where I found it easiest to jump before starting movement. Impressive result for the short turnaround, think you have a good eye for level design.

Why not go with classic movement mechanics? I like the level not having different compartments but being in the same screen.

for only an hour, veryy cool little idea! well done :)

It feels so weird to stop and go with the spacebar. I mixed up space and up for jumping so many times haha.
I guess that fits the theme really well. Nice job!

Really fun concept for the jam. Well done!

Space warping platformer, neat take on the theme! Well done!

nice idea,
why no WASD?

Great game considering the short time you spent making it. Ive never seen a control scheme like this before so it was super weird but once i got used to it it was actually kind of cool. Wish there were more levels and some audio. I hope next time you try to use the whole week :)

I am not a platform gamer, so it was incredible difficult for me. I like the visuals. Fitting audio would boost this game a lot!
