How does the game fit the theme?
Transit hubs are sort of strange places in that they are heavily regimented but also sort of socially lawless. We built on that by making it a portal transit station where magical travelers go through to get where they need to be (which, in and of themselves, are also strange places). But by leaving the portals open, evil portal monsters start pouring out that you need to fend off!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

An interesting and novel game. It has a tight gameplay loop that you can repeat across levels.
I found the environment maybe a touch too big. It took a second or two too long to walk from the plug to the sockets, but that's only a minor issue. The creatures often came out of the portal a bit later than I expected, meaning I'd already moved on to dealing with another passenger when I noticed a different part of the station under attack.
I liked the artstyle, though at one point when trying to read a ticket it clipped through the player as I was standing too close to them.
Good work.
Funny way of using strange places. Sadly I've had some issues as well with the whistle, I tried whistling from the portal, I tried looking at the poor traveller and filling up the exclamation mark gauge, but even when it was full, nothing happened :'(. I don't know if it's a problem with the web export via Godot, we had similar issues with another game we made with it. In any case, the concept was clever, the visuals and audio went well with the theme, you did a good job :)!
Really loved the concept behind this game! It’s quite unique and something that can be expanded upon with more progression mechanics. Great work!
I liked the unique gameplay loop! Sadly the whistle did not work for me :(
Hey, thanks for playing! Noted your feedback, the whistle can be tricky. If you’re wondering, this is how it works:
This is definitely a good area to improve, so if anyone finds any other issues, feel free to comment!
I really liked this entry. I didn't have any issue with the browser game. I really iked the gameplay, I find it innovative. Maybe with more time you could improve the environment and hands animations. It would add really a lot! I would also cut a little bit the text at the end of the levels. Most players don't want to go and really chunks of text.
Well done, and keep jamming :)
Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed! Yeah agree with the feedback, you know it - if just we had more time :”)
Send me a msg when your game is back up and Id love to try it out
We got it working!!
What sort of issues are you running into with the web export?
Oh man, so many things. Performance fell off a cliff, the aiming reticle stopped working, amidst a myriad of other bugs. Finally fixed them though!!!!
