How does the game fit the theme?
Stranger places than hell are hard to find. This place is rigged with traps that makes you think where you should land and jump.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
A lot of inspiration (some recoloring) from Brackeys platformer bundle and help from his youtube video on how to make your first game in godot.

Good work! Not too hard, not too easy. And the definition of rage bait!
Very good submission, especially for a first platformer. I hope you enjoyed making it, and will continue making games. :)
I love a challenging platformer, and this was fun so I am giving it high enjoyment and gameplay scores.
Some people have commented it is too hard, but I beat it in 3 minutes, so I think the difficulty was perfect. Challenging platformers are just not for everyone.
For a first project, it's not that bad!
Though, this game really lacks sounds and, most importantly, a quick way to restart it. Waiting until the fade animation is over starts annoying you already after five deaths. In such infair-ish platformers giving the player a quick way to reset is a must-have.
And yeah, the game is really not scaling when opening it in Full screen mode
Wish you good luck with your next projects!
Ok this is super hard but it really reminds me of OG Mario. Really liked the art style, great colours, and I hated the devil (in a good way) and liked his commentary on my many deaths. Good job, but maybe a little too hard...
Very challenging! I like how the assets were repurposed to make your own level.
I had some issues with the view port: 1. it didn't zoom in when i went into full screen so everything was very small, i found it a little frustrating controlling my guy when he was so small. 2. the death screen fade to black didn't take up my whole screen, only the top left quarter
Great submission overall
