The premise balancing mechanics are interesting. But they need some thought. The level design ruins the idea: it's too hardcore and not optimized for these mechanics. The enemies seem completely useless... There are no sounds, which affects the feeling of responsiveness. Overall, it would be great to try to turn this prototype into a full-fledged game.

For me sometimes the collisions didn't work quite right, but apart from that this was an interesting game. Well done!

Wow death stranding platformer haha. I love the idea of platforming and balancing at the same time, very original mechanic and also style is great. Good job! :)

Nice title screen and the little gibberish text noise during dialogue is such a funny touch lol.

The whole concept fits the theme perfectly, delivering in broken dimensions. The balance mechanic adds a lot more depth than I expected. Having to lean while you're doing wall jumps, slides, and tight platforming is stressful fun. Also shoutout to the character art, everyone looks super unique, and the courier being visibly sweaty/stressed the whole time is hilarious.

The worlds themselves are weird as hell (in a good way), and that creepy music in level 3 really fit the stage. Level 4 was super tough :). Fun, chaotic, and super on-theme. Good entry to the jam.

Very interesting mechanic and visuals, congratz to the team for making a game!

Good Concept, but it was hard to balance the mechanic

really cool concept especially the balance mechanic (though its a bit too fast and imo kind of needs to be nerfed) requiring u to manage ur movement. i only managed to get to the 3rd grey level to the last falling platform but couldnt get past that point as i didnt know where to drop down to and my balance was quite low. in terms of visuals, the pixel art is good but some tiles (as i spotted in the 2nd grass level) are kind of separated from each other. in terms of audio, all i can hear is music and dialogue typing... overall, i see the theme and i like the concept but i think the balancing mechanic and some levels need to be nerfed overall.

Cool! I like the character design and the environment, the idea of delivering between different worlds is cool too!

For me, the controls felt a bit slippery and kind of hard to fine-tune. Also the gravity feels a little low when I’m holding two boxes too haha, also, would be nice if each level was a bit longer, but with some save points too!

Good job!

Hi

This is a speedrunner's nightmare, luckly im not one.

Very challenging. I like how this was not just a timing-based game; you really had to manage your movement.

Voice Over was great =)

Very good jam game, well done team.

Pretty Original , and to be honest I'm stuck at the grey level .

I really liked the character design and the voices they were super funny.

Developer

thank you! glad you enjoyed it!

I really liked the art style and the game concept, but it was way too difficult for me, I couldn't get past the part after the three spinning blades on the 3rd level, and I tried for 10 minutes xD However, for the folks who love the challenge and platformers, I'm sure this will be top tier! Overall - great job!

Developer

yeah haha, it is a bit harder than it should be. we didn’t have much time to dial in those values, but thank you so much for the feedback.

I liked your game. It brought a kind of Death Strending vibe to the gameplay in terms of balancing the boxes, haha. A very interesting idea. Congratulations!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much! the balancing of the boxes was a last minute idea, but i think it tied the gameplay a bit more.

The controls feel a bit stiff, but I think it's just me lol. Great game bro, it was fun!

Developer

The collision is not 100% polish and can disturb movement a little bit. The fault is more us than you hahaha. Thank you for feedback!

Looks cool, cool concept but was to hard for a pleb like me lol xD I couldn't finish it

Developer(+1)

hahaha this game is close to a rage game. Thank for comment!

I like the art style and the character design.

I like how the character always looks like he's carrying a heavy load

I also really enjoyed the balance mechanic I think its a cool addition

I struggled a bit because ctrl d to move crouched kept trying to put your game to bookmarks 😂

it was also a bit too unforgiving I think (maybe I just suck at platforming 😂)

Good job!

We definitely dont think about the browser shortcuts hahahaha. We noticed this but was too late to solve this problem. Thank you so much for your feedback!

My favourite thing was the character design, loved how our guy looked so sweaty and stressed the whole time, and the animation when he was slipping off a platform was delightful every time. Dialogue sounds were also really lovely, and I just really enjoyed the overall vibes of the game. The levels felt a bit too unforgiving and I died a LOT, but it was also kind of hilarious that people live in a places like Broken Glass Boulevard where you can't even touch the street lol! I like the concept, and feel like simplified Death Stranding in a cute platformer form is a nice idea.

Ow Thank you so much for your feedback. We have work so hard in art design and we are glad in read your comment. Thank you!

it quickly becomes repetitive

Developer

sorry for that buddy. we do not have enough time for much mechanics. thanks for your feedback hope next times we can do better

Wow this was challenging! (maybe im just bad lol)

I like the originality of the visual style... Kinda reminds me of monty python with the collage of different art styles!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Hahaha, maybe the game isn't very well balanced either, so the fault more with us than with you. Thank you very much for the feedback.
