Cool game, such an atmospheric experience, really liked it, the telescope works really well, so I think you can continue this game after the jam, with a bigger variety of things to explore in the space, it's a calm and enjoyable game to play, congrats

Liked the quietness and the satisfying 'discorver' experience.
I felt the urgency and somewhat panic from the radio but at the end it wasn't that deep, even if really strange.
The Boötes Void region isn't actually completely empty in reality so it isn't much misterious, to me at least.
Overall liked the game atmosphere, would have liked something more unsetling. The space is so big and unknown, much can be done with it.
Good job!
Nice atmosphere overall.
It feels like the gameplay could use a bit more depth, but it’s a solid effort, especially for a solo project.
Good job!
If you’re checking out other entries, feel free to try our game too.
This was a real chill experience. I liked that I didn't feel rushed. I can just sit there and scan while reading the radio transmissions as things slowly get weirder. Tracking the planets with the mouse was fun. It's simple, but having to stay steady while they move makes it feel more interactive than just clicking away at dots. The expanding scope circle as you're locking in felt satisfying, and those little arrows helping you find the next one kept was a nice addition. The audio helped contribute a lot to the mood. The ambient space hum and that whoosh when you confirm a planet were super clean. Real cool atmosphere piece.
Really unique gameplay. 5/5 on Gameplay and Innovation. Would be a great short game if polished and expanded so that it’s not repeatable
Ngl this game kinda felt like grid shot in AimLabs but it might be just me. You nailed what you wanted and I think you did an amazing job in that, but I think visually you can give more rewarding feedback, and you could've made it a bit more challenging.
an interesting idea! i like the art style and music. mouse control is great. screen ratio is not working perfectly on monitor, but it's not really a big issue.
Okay, this is an interesting idea. I personally also enjoy looking at the deep skies, and it's nice that someone has turned this into a game. The vibe of the game is quite nice, and it's definitely mysterious as the game goes on. I would hope for some resolution for the story, though. Seems like we've discovered a black hole? But without many hints, we can only guess. The gameplay is simple, but I am guessing this is what you are going for. Overall, good job on making the game!
Other things I like:
- The arrow pointing towards the next star is really helpful
- I like how streamlined the game is
- The zooming out and in cutscene looks cool
Suggestions:
- I think the circle turning into an actual deep star object would be nicer than just a small circle when focused. This should give the game some more personalities
- Some visual indicator instead of just text when ready to focus would be nice
You describe this as a short “atmospheric” experience and what can I say, you really nailed the atmospheric vibe! Well done and thanks for trying out my game!
Nice atmosphere. I would have liked a bit more challenge to push the experience further. Good Job !
I loved the atmosphere you have going on here! Were the object names a reference to something tho,,, the only sci fi i watch really is doctor who so I don't get any references AKJSHKJAHSJKA
So funny story about that. I made the Object# based names to help the player figure out how many planets were left, this was before I added the indicators. I actually meant to give the planets their own unique names based on the prefab being pushed, like "Red Giant", "Blue Dwarf" but I completely forgot to switch it over LOL
very nice atmosphere to the game, the increase zoom on each level felt pretty "voidish".
I do wish there was more diffcult to dicovery of each planet as it seemed like you tried that with how the planets would move. I imagine the planets moving faster would have become more annoying rather than fun so I can see why you went for some slower moving ones.
YES THE VOID! Who knows what’s out there?
Nice relaxed game. Thank you, I enjoyed it. :)
Love the idea of an atmospheric astronomy game! Really short and sweet right now, but there's a ton of potential in this premise! Nice work!
