How does the game fit the theme?
I made a walking sim where you explore a curious place, a cave filled with weird objects and statues.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Just the music/sfx and a visual shader. Which are all properly credited.

You really nailed the theme with this one. I love the aesthetic! Felt like a dream :)
Very spooky, I really like some of the visual glitching effects.
Definitely one of the strangest places I've experienced in this game jam!
I found the default walking speed quite slow, so I had to hold shift the whole time. The models generated were cool. It would have been nice if the people shaped ones had been in different poses than all T posing.
Maybe because I was running through it I finished quite quickly, although I don't remember seeing the fourth screenshot you have posted so maybe I just got lost.
I also had a bug at one point when leaving the window and coming back where the mouse wasn't captured by the game, so I could only turn a certain amount each direction before it hit the edge of the screen.
Very on-theme! I like the aesthetic.
I think that having foot sounds for the water/not water would've added more to the immersion of it.
Wow, you nailed the visuals and the environment so much! The atmosphere was instantly very eerie and weird. It´d work wonders with some horror/suspense gameplay mechanics, but as a proof of concept/walking sim it´s really good. Great job!!!
First of all, you finished a game that looks great overall — and achieving that in just 7 days, especially if you are a solo developer, is impressive. Great job!
Things I liked:
-
The jam theme is well implemented. The assets, SFX, and music all work in the same direction to create an immersive experience.
Constructive Feedback:
-
There seems to be a bug with the mouse rotation. When the mouse icon reaches the edge of the screen, you can no longer rotate the camera further in that direction. It can feel a bit annoying at times and slightly affects the overall experience.
Psychodelic. A very strange and eery place indeed.
