How does the game fit the theme?
You play as a detective investigating a serial killer who leaves photos of strange places as a sick game.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Almost all code was written by me, except for the vehicle system (R-Tune asset) that I've extended. I re-used systems I've built for myself (like dialogue, settings, etc.) for a separate (commercial) project.
Most assets are pre-made (see credits) but I've done my own modifications (e.g. custom textures).
How many people worked on the game?2

Great polish and intriguing story, you should continue working on the game and release it!
The story was very intriguing, well done! I wish there was the ending too! When are you going to publish it? :) I really loved the sound effects, simple visuals, but polished. Great indie entry for the jam! Your game deserve more ratings! Probably that's because it's not a play in browser. Can you also rate my game? :)
thanks! After the jam is over I’m going to spend a few weeks finishing off the story and polishing some bugs.
I use unreal which doesn’t allow web builds unfortunately. In the future i want to shrink the package size so there’s less friction. Thanks for playing.
Oh it makes sense now! I don't use Unreal much and I didn't know that. Well, I'll follow you so I see if you publish the game :)
Btw, it doesn't have the usual Unreal look. Interesting approach!
Such an exceptional game with decent mechanics and this was made for a game jam? - WOW!
I have do admit, I was a little biased before starting to play, because I deeply loved the previous game "911, What's Your Emergency". The tone of this might even darker compare to the first game, but I loved the addition of new mechanics, characters and the environment. I think overall, this might be the best project I've played from the "Brackeys Game Jam 2026" - trust me, I've played A LOT.
Best of luck with the future games and this particular project! I can't wait for the full release, if that happens. Cheers!
It's really hard to believe this was made in a week, considering all the options available in the menu, and how good the game looks. When I finished the first part and it blacked out to the desk environment I was like "NO WAY IT KEEPS GOING" and then it ended and it got me like "Oh yeah it makes sense".
It is a very solid entry with a very strong atmosphere, the writing is pretty solid. The environment is amazing, probably the best I've seen so far in this jam. I did struggle a bit getting out of the car and had to look in the menu for the key which was unintuitive (should have a prompt show up).
I think it being a 2G download with no web demo asks for a big commitment and drives your playrate down, you should probably update your screenshots with gifs and be proactive in getting people to play your game because yeah the download is big but it's worth it. Hope you manage to get more players! It's definitely a very strong start that could become a fully-fledged game.
I re used a lot of the systems I've been working on for a separate commercial game. So things like the menu and dialogue is months in the making.
Appreciate the kind words. Input prompts were something I knew I needed to add but didn't have enough time to place them everywhere.
Agree on the package size, it's an unreal game so already is pretty big (and ue5 doesn't really support web builds). I was making attempts at the end of the jam to reduce the build but had little success. Have to learn more about that for later releases. Thanks for playing regardless of that!
Wow! I'm surprised this doesn't have more ratings! The setting is great, the interactions are smooth, and the dialogue is really well written. It's too bad you weren't able to finish the story, but what's here is really polished! I did encounter a bug where my movement locked up after reading the note left by the killer, but there were no other noticeable issues.
Thank you! Noted on the movement issue, I'll look into that.
