This definitely fits the theme. It has its charm and I enjoyed it, but as you probably already know there are quite a few things that could be improved. Overall I had a fun time with it though, so that’s what counts. Good job! :)

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you had fun 😊

It's well done, some things like the movement or animations could be polished, but other than that it's quite fun and enjoyable, good game!

Thanks 😊 I will def try to improve for the next jam

I enjoyed this game and was brave until the end!  It was definitely simple, but fit the theme well.  Nice piece.

The game looks cool. It fits the theme perfectly because that realy is a strange place. Fun game :)

The setting and the music here are very chill. The gameplay... not so much, lol. Still, it's not bad, and the basic mechanics (movement, shooting, enemy spawns) work well. My biggest critique is that the player feels generally powerless against the sheer number of enemies, and this detracts from the otherwise pleasant and interesting setting. Great job for your first jam though!

Developer

Appreciate the feedback. Yes Great point! it would have been nice to add some powerups along the path to help the player

This is a pretty good game for a first time. And altough its largly an asset flip, it's nice to see people getting into gamedev. As for feedback, I'd advise that next time you should make your own assets, even if they are worse, you will learn so much more. And besides that, just continue making games, you will get better over time.

Good luck in your gamedev journey :)

Thanks for the Feedback. Yes I was a bit timid to try it my self but will definitely give it a go next time thanks.

Strange place indeed! Cool visuals. If the shooting aim is based on last walked direction I would not have the shoot button be a mouse click when mouse only points camera.

Developer

Absolutely right thanks for the suggestion. And thanks for playing 😁.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate the enemy density at 11. Well done, it was fun to dodge and blast my way through to the end!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it πŸ™‚.
