Great concept, awesome art style and fun gameplay, only the reloading was a bit annoying, but other than that it seems like a well executed idea.

Great game! I'll say I think this is very close to being very good, but for me the one thing that prevented me from enjoying myself as much as I otherwise might was the ammo. It felt like I'd run out in half a second, and that it took forever to reload. I think it would be ten times more enjoyable if you had like maybe three to five times more ammo in each gun before having to reload, because as of now I feel like I'm just tediously having to wait a second while fleeing twenty enemies at once and not being able to do anything, it's too much downtime. Basically I think if I'm fully unloading two guns at once into five enemies, I shouldn't be needing to reload them four times to kill them all, you know?

But that's mostly a balancing issue, otherwise I think this is a very cool game, and it's very impressive for just one person in a week!

Thanks for your submission

This was so much fun!!! Very polished, the music and art style go together really well. I could see this becoming something more!

This was amazing and so wel polished! One of the most fun games I played this jam!

This is AMAZING!!!! I genuinely had so much fun playing and must say that I don't usually play a ton of FPS games so it was sincerely challenging while still being fun!

The art is incredible - I really really love the environment and the worldbuilding that comes with it. The premise itself is simple, so you become quickly engaged, but the gameplay is fast-paced and leads to levels of strategy. Once I learned that I could jump on top of the heads of the enemies I felt like a genius who unlocked something incredible lol. The mushroom enemy designs are both cute and creepy, I really like them.

The sound design is really well done and the music is so sick. Very well selected.

Honestly feels so polished for only a week-long game jam. I would really love to see this concept expanded with even more areas and enemies. Maybe some really giant ones with weird attack patterns or little swarms of spores, etc.

Loved it!!

i absolutely adore the graphics, the ui and the audio and it follows the theme, however, pretty much all ur doing is running and gunning. tbh i couldnt get past the second wave because of how much enemies there were with their health. im not into fps games but this seems fun with the potential it has.

This is really good foundation it terms of game feel, visuals and polishing. Lacks gameplay deepness tho, given only one gun and simple follow enemy behaviour, but given that you're did it all solo, impressive work.

Very fun game, the visuals are amazing! Feels very smooth and responsive overall. Also amazing that you managed to include 4 different enemy types and made it pretty clear what their purpose/difference is without explanation!

My only critiques I have would be:

1. Missing a sound option for SFX.

2. The HP seems to regenerate pretty fast. I think it's good for now, so people can enjoy playing through it without the risk of making the game too hard though!

3. Slightly bigger scope critique: Right now the 2 weapons don't feel much different than having just 1 weapon. It might be cooler to give the player an incentive to only shoot 1 weapon at a time instead of just using both. Maybe using both has more spread or the 2 weapons have different uses.

Very good game the is so many little things i noticed later like you can shoot off limbs of the aliens.

Great work, I'm very impressed how good of a polished experience you were able to create solo. The best parts for me are definitely the amazing graphics and the feel of the game. It really feels and handles very well. I didn't have much time to play so maybe I missed some things but it does feel like there isn't much to do aside from running and gunning but I think you already did more than most could realistically do on their own in1 week.

Few small hiccups for me. I'm one of those annoying users that's both on linux and using an ultrawide (21:9) monitor. I had to actually get a 16:9 monitor from the attic to play your game because part of your UI is rendered off screen when you play in ultrawide (and I couldn't find a way to change it to windowed mode). And I had to crank up the sensitivity to max in order to make the game playable for me. This has been an issue with other unity games on linux and I don't think you're at  fault for that.

Either way great work, I'm very impressed.

Honestly this is insane! The art style is amazing and everything felt good! only problem was i couldnt reload just one pistol i had to do both but still an incredible entry really enjoyed it

I am glad you liked it. I did make it so that you can reload each gun separately with different keys at first, but I tought it was a bit to complicated. Will be checking your game out!
