Really love the art and music! Not entirely sure that the two match lol, but they are both really well done. I'll echo other comments about death feeling a bit too punishing to have to start all over again and the caves being too hard to see, but otherwise a great little game!

Very fun game, the music is great especially the seagull. For the platforming I recommend looking into something called Coyote timing to make the jumps not as restrictive. It's not too hard to implement and there's a lot of tutorials on it. Great game!

Great game, especially for your first jam! I got a good kick out of the seagull-flying minigame, lol. Other people have mentioned that the cave section is too dark, and I'll second that. I also don't think the game benefits from the 10 package requirement along with permadeath upon falling into the water. Completing the game becomes tedious and death is very frustrating. Still, the basic mechanics work well here, and I hope you continue refining these concepts as you make more games!

The outdoor aesthetic is nice and the music fits the platforming vibe. Definitely a strange island and cave.
My main complaint was the cave was a little too dark to really be able to see clearly, a light source the player can pickup or use would be nice :)
