I loved the connecting the neurons to the brain puzzle! Super unique way of piecing the story together. Well done :)

a fellow car crash survivor!

The game was quite interesing, looking at the name and the title screen I didn't expect the entire game to take place in a brain zone, so that was definitely a strange place!

When it comes to the final puzzle I'm not sure if I solved it the intended way, but I couldn't find a way to connect the final "cable", so I just started spamming jump near a pillar and eventually I climbed to the needed height.

Overall enjoyed the game! Great job on it!

This was a really cool take on the theme. Repairing your own brain from the inside is such a wild premise, and that intro cutscene sells it immediately. Also big kudos for getting a WebGL 3D build running smoothly.

The puzzle interactions were my favorite part: snapping the skull pieces into place is weirdly satisfying, and reconnecting the neuron bits felt great too. The whole brain-world presentation is gross in a good way lol, even the footstep audio on the squishy terrain adds a lot to the immersion. Super creative idea with a lot of memorable moments, and it already feels like a foundation you could expand into something even bigger.

Thank you for the feedback. We really appreciate it. There were a lot of firsts for us on this one and Im happy we were able to get something out. We did have to cut out quite a bit of the original idea but we plan on working on getting it to what we had envisioned originally. I think im most proud about how we were able to cut out ideas as we realized we wouldn't have time to implement them.

I really like the idea behind the game. It would be great to see this concept developed further

Really enjoyed the skull pieces snapping into place, it was super satisfying. Sticking the neurons to little brain ball was also a lot of fun too. Well done!

The sound when your walking on the brain! Very immersive, great game. I did somehow manage to glitch myself out of the world in the first level, I think I might have stood inside the puzzle as I placed the piece in.

Good work!

Really good game! The motion blur got me a little dizzy so maybe an option to turn it off in the future, also regarding the second level you can have the unconnected bits be dangling so that the players will be intrigued and look at it, other than that great game! enjoyed it!

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the feedback. I honestly couldn't think of a way to make the second level more intuitive without making it obvious but your idea sounds great. As for the motion blur. I may have added that right before the build with about 10 seconds of testing.....oops

Reminds me a lot of Psychonauts! The motion blur was a bit much for me, but that's just because I'm a wimp with motion sickness. I also thought the FOV change during sprint was cool, but it never turned back off until I switched to the neuron level. And then I did it again, and it stuck on again. I think the way the models changed when you pulled the nibs was awesome! Looked very fluid.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Im not suprised the motion blur was off putting. I sort of just slapped that in at the end thinking it might make it feel smoother. Apparently too smooth. As for the fov im not too surprised. We were building off an old fps controller that i am not currently re-writing.

That intro is 10/10

the brain texture gave me the creeps, really well done game good job guys ;P

Developer

Lol thanks. First time really doing any kind of animation and first time using unity's timeline system.

Really cool game, loved the brain textured world haha! Only issue is one of the puzzle bits jumped me out of bounds! Other than that, was good!

Developer(+1)

.....we'll just consider that a feature. Lol

I didnt fall off the map, I fell out the ear canal :D

I like the game! It's very interesting! On the second level, I was wondering what to do; I needed a little bit of instructions there! Overall, a good job!

Developer

Any ideas on how to make it more obvious? Youre not the first to have difficulties on that part

Developer

Im glad you think so!

This is a really unique take on the theme, I like it! I am a fan of puzzle games and the light platforming was fun. I did encounter a glitch in the first level where I couldn't turn my head. I reloaded the page/game tried again and it was fine. Overall a really interesting game. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you for trying it out and thanks for the feedback. I checked your game out too. Looks good

the atmosphere and theme interpretation  were amazing. i did get pretty confused on the second level, but i got it after 5 minutes or so.

great idea overall

Developer

Ya definitely learned a lesson om that front. Context clues

I thought it was a car race, but it wasn't :) A very nice environment and atmosphere have been created. It's hard to understand what to do at first, but we have to place the "pieces" we collect in the right places. By the way, there's a bug; I can throw these pieces out by passing them through the game's wall. This breaks the game.

Congratulations. It was fun.

Developer(+1)

I mean in a way he was racing....also we did fix the bug with throwing the pieces out the map before the cutoff.
