Truly an extremely good strategy game. Took me a long time to figure out the objectives when I started playing, but in time game got tremdnenisly got better

This is impressive, the visuals are fantastic and the music is great as well, the gameplay is pretty unique in the jam I think. The sudden camera movements make it a bit hard to know what’s happening sometimes but other than that it looks really polished. Congrats!

The visuals are stunning and the experience was a soothing rush of dopamine. Would love to see the stuff you craft in the future.

Really loved this game, I died 2 times before getting what I had to do, but after that it-s pretty smooth, if anything, maybe too much, mid to late game the objectives were rarely over the amout i already had. In any case, reaaaally good game for a jam, congrats!!

HOW CAN SOMEONE DO THIS IN SUCH A SHORT TIME?

Excellent game. It's very reminiscent of the classic ActRaiser, and also Civilization. Very interesting and fun. You can spend hours playing it. Congratulations on the work. The art and music are wonderful, very professional.

Impressively well-polished for a game jam - felt more like I was playing a demo for a full game that's ready to launch! Excellent visuals, music and sound, and I enjoyed watching the game world transform over time. I had a confusing start but got the hang of it after a couple rounds.

I think a key quality-of-life improvement you could make is to always show the player whether or not they are meeting the objective, and how far left they have to go. In other words, don't make me do math  😂

Fantastic job!

Thats alot of work for a week, and really really polished, impresive, well done guys!

At first I did not fully understand what the “eye counter” meant. After two quick loses I figured out this is a turn countdown before which you have to meet the objective.

Once you know that, and you find out the combos you can make this is pretty fun to play. The art is very clean, consistent and polished, really liked that. There is plenty of possibilities with the simple rules each location has.

Very nice job, I expect this one to score pretty good in the end ranking :D

I'm really impressed by what you got in here in 1 week. And the more I played, the more impressed I became. The number get bigger was super fun and the SFX, music, and visuals went together very nicely. I died really quickly my first try still figuring out things, but the second time, I got a few early get 'x' each turn, and then get all 'x' you earned this turn every turn and snowballed really hard. Later on the get 'x' for each 'y' you have really went crazy. I started just going up the map, and it looks like you have some sort of procedural to get the map in and the areas?

I think the early part of figuring out what you need can be a little confusing at first. And then figuring out that some things cost resource in return for their effect. And I'm not really sure what triggers the little eyes to pop up, or what their purpose is - I never really felt too caged in or blocked off from stuff.

And of course, excellent work on the theme. idk why there's a giant eyeball that demands resource and other eyeballs spawning out of the ground. But it is a strange place and we don't question it

Oh man, this game is so good but God, gonna have to agree with everyone else. The lack of tutorial is really tough. I read the description for the game and I got halfway through before I was like, let me just try playing this thing and I'm sure it'll all make sense and then I did and I was even more confused. I just played like, 5 other games so I think my patience is low and I should take a break cause this game seems awesome otherwise. I would love to really give it an honest try because the art, visuals, feel, and atmosphere are incredible.

Really impressive game. It was confusing at first, but after a few attempts I started to get it. It's not clear what the different currencies represent, which wouldn't really affect gameplay, but when I finally realized what they represent, it helped for understanding the game better. This could be corrected with adding text or more indicative art (I first thought the wood was bacon XD ) but the art is great though. I didn't realize I was losing because I didn't reach my objective. When I almost figured out why I lost, I was unsure whether or not I needed the amount for all currencies or just one, or total. Since it's total, it would be useful for there to be a display for a counter for how many you currently have, since it was tedious counting all my points together and comparing it with the required points. I liked the strategy aspect and the unique gameplay. Overall very polished game.

We sure have a clarity problem ! Our game really needs a tutorial.

This is a very polished game. The end of turn tallying gets really satisfying as your village gets larger. I'm not particularly good at this style of game, so I'm assuming that's why my tallying had so many sour notes :P

I didn't see the countdown on my first couple attempts, and was surprised when I lost "out of nowhere". And then it took me couple more rounds to spot the objectives. From that point on it was just my own poor strategizing holding me back. I think I missed that some of the locations were consuming resources each turn until it was too late.

A strange world for sure.

Feels very slick for a jam game - really nicely polished!

Really cool game, the art and music are awesome. It's very satisfying to watch the roads get laid down, great work!

I loved it from beginning to end! Was Super Fantasy Kingdoms one of your inspirations?
It’s great to see you’re part of the Godot family too!
We took a completely different direction with our game on our side.

I didn't know about Super Fantasy Kingdoms, but I just went to check it out, and the pixel art makes me feel like a nobody next to it T_T xD. Otherwise thank you for playing our game !

I really liked both the sound design (music fades, effects) and pixel art! The gameplay was intuitive and clicking mechanics simple but effective. I wasn't so good at creating good connections to new locations, and struggled a lot with resources and eyes that destroyed new possible connections :S haha anyway I loved to play your game!

Great game! I loved almost everything about it, from the mechanics to the visual style. I did find it a bit short (or maybe I didn't quite understand how to play it? Either way, I won't deduct points for that).

okay this game feels absolutely incredible. For a moment I forgot that I was playing a game made in 7 days for a jam! Absolutely stunning in all aspects. The only improvement I would say is that it would be nice to have a progress bar or something like that to make it easier to know if I have made the objective.
