Played this game on stream. Beat all the levels. Very solid gameplay. If I had finished before reviews were closed would've given:
Gameplay: 5 Seems perfect for what it's going for, good pacing of new mechanics, grabbing and dragging was responsive and worked how it should.
Enjoyment: 4 Fun for what it was
Innovation: 4 A low 4, but while no individual idea is super unique putting them all together in this world is pretty innovative.
Audio: 3 A high 3, kinda barebones but it achieved the important goal for puzzle games where it helped build a good puzzle solving mood without distracting at all. Maybe could've used some one or two soft bits of ambience to build out the mood.
Visuals: 3 Well drawn art, like the audio I think it just needed some slight non-static effect to give it life/dimension. Again, high 3, almost 4, much better than had it been too busy/flashy in a way that made the puzzle harder to visually parse.
Theme: 4 A textbook solid example of the theme.

Wow, very cool iteration of these tile sliding puzzles ^^ Your level design was immaculate. You introduced each new tile/mechanic in a super easy to understand way without the need of tutorials/written explanation. I always love to see this done right :)

Very clean puzzle game ! The ambience is really chill. The sounds and the visuals are great and work well together. There is feedbacks on my action even if you could add a little more. I appreciated that the level design scale slowly to make me understand the mechanics. Overall it's a really great job for the jam !

This was a fun one! Not typically my type of game so I was a little surprised I played it as much as I did. Big props to making the game intuitive and easy to manuver.

If i were to criticese something I would say that even though the art and aesthetics caught my attention I didn't find them as much as I wanted during the gameplay. I left the game still wanting to learn more about the world or see something else happening visually. But then again that's just the kinda of game that I specifically like, and also I didn't play untill the last level so maybe I missed something!

Nontheless you guys did a great job!

Nice chill puzzle game. clean presentation and the mechanics are easy to pick up, but still get pretty interesting later on. I liked how the level slowly introduced new tiles and ideas without needing a bunch of tutorials. The visuals are also really nice, and the SFX are very pleasing, easy on the ears, and responsive, like the click on the tile slide. Really good little puzzler here; very innovative.

Thanks for playing it and for your kind comments!

10/10 innovation! The puzzles and level design are brilliant, the world-building created by the art style is also super interesting. Definitely has the potential to become a great narrative puzzle game!

Interesting puzzles. Simple controls, but challenging. In the beginning I was a bit confused on how to drag tiles, maybe making them move by just dragging without needing to release would help. Or an indicator on where the tile will move while you hold down the mouse. Also I think it would be cool if the moved tiles would stay as they are when you fail a level... Sometimes I failed and then had to redo everything, even though there was just 1 wrong tile.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback Kuptain.

We will take in consideration the feedback provided, especially the one about the tiles reset to the original posicion when you fail.

Nice game! The only real issue I had was that the pirate sometimes wouldn't turn in the direction it seemed the arrow was telling him to turn. Otherwise, it was pretty cool!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback, amethyscent.

We agree that sometimes it’s not intuitive which direction the character will turn when walking backwards. We’ll work on improving the tile sprites to help avoid this confusion.

Good game! At first I thought it was too easy, but there was a good difficulty curve. I found 15 harder than 16 for some reason. Good stuff for only a week, though! It's visible that every member put in their share of work.

Developer

Thank you for your comment, Ossem. We’re glad you appreciated the time and effort we put into the level design.

We’re currently working on adding more levels that we couldn’t include before the deadline. I hope you’ll have the chance to try the game again when we release the final version in the coming days!

I really enjoyed the game! It’s a great experience, but a few tweaks could make it even better. For instance, it would be more intuitive to transition between areas by clicking the gate itself rather than just using the left and right keys. . Regardless, it’s still an excellent game

I’d be really happy if you could give my game a try whenever you have some free time

Developer

Thank you for your comment 7seen 3bdullah.  Yes i do agree, the UI is something that we should improve for this game.

I have just rated your game :D

Great game! It's polished, the difficulty ramps up very nicely, and the visuals are high quality for a week-long jam. Only thing lacking a bit was theme relevance in my opinion. Maybe the left/right dimensions could have behaved differently or had their unique tiles. Also that jump sound effect startled me the first time I heard it! :^)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment, Tey.

I agree that the theme may not be clearly reflected in the mechanics. Our initial idea was to include different dimensions with unique backgrounds to better support the theme, but due to time constraints we couldn’t fully develop it.

We’re currently expanding the levels and will definitely consider your idea of adding unique tiles per dimension. Thank you!

I liked that it taught through some trial and error. It was fun going through and the difficulty progression felt okay. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you for your comment CHolt. We are glad you enjoyed the game

Yeaaaahhh boy, I beat it. The last levels were tricky but cool. Also, what I like about this game is that You get to learn about different pieces just by playing through it. which is a great way of avoiding tutorials. and it a good game design approach.

Developer

Congratulation Aun-Abbas!

I am glad you notice about the time we spend on the level design. I hate those overtext tutorial in games.

Really nice puzzle game, I liked how you slowly added more and more tiles and some unique mechanics like changing between the two screens. I could definitely see this expanded to a longer cozy game on steam or mobile :)

Developer

Thank you for the comment GlitchKat.

I do agree, I think it has potencial to become a casual comercial game if we put more time on it
