Probably the most enjoyable game I hav eplayed so far. Really good level design and visuals. I wish there was a better ending but its totally fine.

10/10 , goofy , simplistic and addictive .

Haha what a fun simple game. Honestly I thought it was cute at first but as it kept going it just got better. I actually laughed out loud when the mirage beers disappeared. Very elevated version of a kind of joke concept. Sounds were also really good but could use a little music!

I really enjoyed the cartoony visuals and the sound design. The little secrets hidden in the game design are a nice touch, and everything feels really juicy overall.

The ending could have been a bit clearer though. I wasn’t completely sure if it was truly the end or not (or is it ?).

Well done it was fun !

Truly the strangest game I played, it gave a lot of the vibes that "Thank goodness you are here" gave me. The breaking stuff is really satisfying.

Also surprising amount of locales and the mirage effect was surprising, felt right in place in the desert.

This is good stuff!

Amazing work!

This was the strangest and the weirdest game I played in this game and I loved every bit of it! 😂

Great work!

This was bizarre in the best possible way. Fantastic visuals considering models were handmade. Excellent work

This was very unique and definitely fit the theme very well. Its also very impressive that you made all the models from scratch. Good job!!

Best game I've played so far. Don't know what to say. I loved the whole experience with all these absurd locations and levels. It originally gets quite boring when still in the storage room, but it all changes once I've reached the toilet. Sound is cute and funky, good models (all handmade too? wow you guys are surely hardworking). The ending for the giant beer dispenser is really satisfying too. Super well done.

Other things I like:

  • Beer
  • Beer
  • Beer
  • I laughed out loud when the beer turned out to be an illusion in the desert

Suggestions:

  • I would suggest adding some more fanfare after reaching the end? A celebration and end screen, perhaps
  • A counter for how many beer found in the game would be nice too (and the total amount)

And if you excuse me, I am heading down to the pub for a pint now.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing our game and the suggestions! Hopefully the pint hit the spot at the pub, Cheers!

I really liked the game and thought your art style was good and so was the humor. I hope you can add something more to the game, like maybe a property damage value for how much you break

Developer

Thats a fun suggestion!

Visuals

1 ... (game scene 1) art elements fits together well

2 ... good shader touch when player starts running out of beer

Design

1 ... level 1 5/5 what I can say perfect but later all starts falling apart:

1.1 . game tries to add more levels/rooms to increase complexity -> other levels mostly feels rushed.

1.2 . I would rather see less boxes ... than .... fully stacked room

2 ... maybe add some narrative story which game tries to follow

Controls

1 ... well tuned & responsive good job

Sound

1 ... this angry sound of man threw me off guard. Congrats you are 3rd person who managed to do this (top 3,2967%)

2 ... no OST/BG sound most of time (only at start + when near beer)

Thanks for giving your feedback. We tried to maximize on fun and the theme with the time we had. We more focused on production and visuals then an actual narrative well tought out structured storyline. Just beer and smashing stuff:)
Thank you for playing!

Pretty fun game, the premise of the game already sounded funny to me, and even if at first I didn't really understand what to do ( I just roamed around smashing everything I could find ), when I understood what I had to do, it made a lot more sense why I had to destroy stuff. Anyways, the artstyle is beautiful, and I liked how I could basically break everything and that everything had a different breaking sound. Well done!

Also, it's pretty funny to me how I was able to break basically everything except for the "No beer" sign at the start of the game.

Thank you for playing and leaving this review! :-)

I can tell you guys had a blast making this lol, it just keeps getting stranger and stranger in the best way. The whole premise is hilarious on its own, and then it just escalates. I felt like each new area was trying to out-weird the last one. The sound effects when smashing and pushing things around were a lot of fun too. They add to that chaotic energy and make everything feel more satisfying. This was just pure fun.

I'm impressed at how smooth this ran in WebGL for a 3D. I haven't made a 3d one yet but am interested for the future. Did you guys do anything special to optimize it?

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! We used unlit textures, and occlusion culling. Also, all the models are pretty lowpoly.

Truly a strange place. Amazing story, 10/10.
