Hi! Your game looks interesting. By any chance, are you looking for a composer and sound designer? I can send you my portfolio and my Discord.

Loved it !

Its really impressive to see how much you were able to do in such a short period of time, congrats !

Game is really fun, tho I took quite some time to understand that you could scroll to see other ingredients when cooking, maybe adding some sort of arrow could make things clearer.

Developer(+1)

Aww thank you!! We’re so glad you enjoyed (and definitely locked in hard for this game)! Adding arrows to the ingredient scrollbar is definitely up on our list of post jam improvements. In hindsight it is quite confusing! Thanks for your feedback!! :3

The fact that you made this in 3 days is incredible! We were stuck on step 5 for a long time, (adding butter to every dish), but otherwise the experience was practically perfect! The best game I've seen in this jam, and better than the top games I've played in other jams.

Developer(+1)

Ahh!! You're wayyy too sweet :') But we're super glad you had fun with our game hehe
The step 5 clarity stuff is definitely something we've noticed from folks playtesting and we're looking to improve this after the jam ^_^ !!

I couldn't think of anything more cozy than cooking up a nice stew in the cold weather! It definitely has the right vibes. Throwing together recipes was interesting, but I did start hitting a wall at a certain point. Other than that, it was great fun with an adorable art style. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing!! We're glad you like the vibes hehe ^_^

We do definitely want to go back and fix some stuff up with the recipe evaluation logic (and perhaps made this harder for ourselves by creating so many types of ingredients 💀) and add a little hints system after the jam !!

Submitted(+1)

Ha Ha! Sounds good!

The art was very cute aesthetically and nice to look at. The cooking mechanic was really fun. I had trouble reading the book on step 3, I couldn't tell if that was purposeful. It was fun. Thank for making it.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! We're super glad you had fun with the cooking and puzzles ^_^

The step 3 puzzle was deliberately hard to read where (hopefully) you could piece together enough context from the little decipherable bits !! Although in the future it would definitely be a good idea for us to make this one a little more accessible :)

Wonderful game ✨💖🌈
We really liked the concept, story and art. Everything works perfectly and the two mice are very cute.
We managed to make 16 recipes !
Maybe the cooking system could be a little bit improved with hints for hidden recipes and buttons around the ingredients menu instead of a scrollbar. However it is still perfectly playable as it is.
Congratulations !🐭🥣🍄‍🟫

PS : We are just curious about why it is written "Cabbage ? [...] Like the game jam theme !?" when Squeak tastes cabbage ?

Developer(+2)

Woa!! It really means alot that you dived so deep into our recipe system ^_^ The two changes you mentioned are definitely things we want to implement in the future alongside improving the recipe matching logic!! Thank you so much for playing <3

Ah for the cabbage dialog, it's adjective is 'cosy',,, like the game jam title hehe :') Looks like it got missed out when we migrated the dialog

Great game! Everything was exceptional from the music, art, gameplay, sound, puzzle. 10/10

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed!! We had a lottt of fun cooking this game up :')

Loved this, one of the best here.
The gameplay concept really convey a sense of coziness, though the recipe system could have a litte improvement. The art is absolutely adorable and polished.

Developer(+1)

Awh thank you so much !! We do definitely want to polish up the recipe system  with some slightly less generall catch-alls and maybe a hint system :) We're super glad you like the art !!

The graphics are amazing, the atmosphere is even better. Probably the best cooking game in this jam. If you have a minute between cooking sessions, come play my game.

Developer

Aw thank you we’re glad you enjoyed! This means a lot to us, there have been a lot of amazing cosy cooking games this jam. I’d be delighted to come check out your game too ^^

Top tier, probably the best game here.

Developer(+1)

Thank you!! That means a lot to us <3

Developer(+1)

Yay!! Glad We could cook up something fun hehe ^_^

OHMYGOD. I am blown away by the amount of content in this game! The artstyle is lovely(so lovely and tasty looking in fact that you made me hungry now.) The cozy meter is off the charts and the story is so cute and sweet. This is insanely polished for something made in 3 days! 5 stars across ALL CATEGORIES.

Developer(+1)

AHHH YOU'RE SO SWEET :') !! We're very glad that we could chef up a fun experience 🐀👨‍🍳 ,,, We were certainly hungry as well drawing up all those dishes (especially since we've snuck in a couple of our favourite foods in hehe), and designing the recipe system has been super fun !
