Great card game. I enjoyed, I liked the sounds and the art. Great work
Really cool visuals and audio, very fun gameplay as well. Well done!
Really cool card game! It took me awhile to get used to how the mechanics worked but once I did I really enjoyed myslef. The different missions lead to lots of replayability. Great job!
The art in this game is really well done! It looks like a lospec palette demo in the best way possible! I was confused by the rules at first but it was pretty enjoyable once I got the hang of it. My only ask would be that the AI is better, I found it hard to lose. Overall though, well done on making a really cool jam game!
I managed to win! I love card strategy games, and this one is a great one! At first I didn't understand how to play and just played randomly, but finally once I got in track I got to win one game! Great work, thanks!
I enjoyed the game, it's a bit hard to understand at the beginning but it's pretty fun! As constructive feedback I would suggest a mini tutorial before the first game. Great work!
I actually really enjoyed playing this! I honestly don't enjoy card games that much, but this one somehow intrigued me, even though I didn't understand at all what was going on haha. May I get an explanation on what the red cards do?

Hey thanks for playing ! If you mean the orangy cards, they are population, you can place up to three population under a biome (green) card, but beware your opponent can also place population above the same biome card. Each biome only has place for 3 population (unless you use place plus the effect card)
If you read the rules on the itch page its quite understandable and enjoyable imo ^^ Overall I think a card game like this with this level of polish (visual and from a game design perspective) is really impressive for a week, great job.
The "6 Goblins" Goal was diabolical tho, in the end when the board was mostly full, I had to pass turn like 20 times until I drew enough xD
Tried it yesterday evening and struggled to figure it out, went back in today and it clicked, had 2 solid rounds that were fun. The presentation is great, from the boards beveled edges framing everything nicely to the card designs and presentation. I dont think your visual language is unclear, your game is just missing a comprehensive tutorial section which would make onboarding a smoother process. Thanks for sharing :)
Woah, this one is GREAT!
This really feels polished, and I know making a card game in 7 days is not an easy task! Really enjoyed it throughout, the gameplay is strategic and everchanging, it really tests your skills to both manage enemy population and your current quest. The graphics and audio are really polished, I particularly like the little detail of the cards not landing in perfectly straight position but being slightly tilted (even on opponent's moves), really gives the feel of a casual card game!
Now, onto some critiques I have for the game:
- It was a bit unclear for me how to play from the start due to a lack of a tutorial. Tho I'm really into card games, so I could figure it out pretty easily, but I worry it may not be the same for other people (the color being the attribute, needing to match an attribute of the land below to place another land, needing to draw the cards from the right side, population needing to match the attribute of the land in their column else being sent to the discard, these are all not explained). I think it may use some glowing indicators/visual feedback for where you can place a card, or what to click to draw the next card.
- I think at current state, the starting quest choice may be redundant. You can't see the quests anyways, so either give the player one quest, or let them see a randomized pool of quests to choose from.
- If you have no quest that requires you population, I found population cards to be useless (I started with "have 5 mountains on top"). It would be nice for you to also have the win condition of having X population (so the quests would make for alternate wincons, so you can always have a backup plan depending on what's your setup) or having the population cards have different effects (tho this will take a lot longer to code).
- I liked to be able to choose what cards to draw, but found the fact to be able to only draw 1 per turn a bit slow, and mostly found myself drawing land cards, even while doing creature quests, as they are the only ones able to really hinder the opponent (if you have enough creatures in your hand, you can keep them there and continue drawing lands to setup your advance and stop the opponent, and when you have the correct setup you throw all your creatures down and win). I mostly never drew purple cards, asI always got the reservation card, which I found less powerful than drawing a lot of lands and eliminating every creature on the opponent's side by mismatching their color.
- Small nitpick: I would like a sound for when your turn starts.
But overall, a great game for a 1 week gamejam! Simple yet strategic, just needs a few improvements here and there and it could genuinely be a super fun roguellike card game! Keep up the great work! :D
Great card game once you understand the mechanics! Also liked the fact that the player can choose what different types of cards to draw. a more clear tutorial on what to do would have been nice, but other than that, Great job!
Also the music is quite lovely.
It's a really cool game. The visuals and music are great and very consistent with each other. But at first play i cannot get what to do and how to play, what is my goal and how to win. So i easily get lost and losed to enemy.
Really cool idea for a card game, and quite interesting giving he player a different mission from the opponent on the same game board - it means a different strategy and type of play each time. Wonderful music too, it felt like quite an iconic theme, giving me fantasy/medieval Ennio Morricone vibes! Easy to listen to on a loop for ages. The cards also all had an appealing, unified art style as well, which I think is harder than it looks so good job pulling it off.
Some UI suggestions to make the next play clearer:
- I'd suggest hiding the draw cards when they can't be drawn (or make it so they don't interact with the cursor anymore).
- And when picking a card from my hand, would be nice if the possible squares it could be played on were highlighted.
- The opening screen when you're picking your mission card: it felt like I could choose between them, so was confusing when I picked one to turn it over, then clicking on another card started the game. For that screen, once a mission card is picked, reveal it and hide the others, then start the game).
Very good game, well done guys!
Nice art and gameplay, though took me a while to understand what I was doing
