We Need Your Feedback

Version 0.1 has been out for a little while now. Many of you have already played through the first chapter, explored the city, tested the systems, and formed an overall impression of where the project stands. Now we’re entering a very important phase: gathering honest feedback.

We’re building Strange Search Sister as a long term project. Its growth depends heavily on how you experience it. What feels strong right now, and what needs improvement. What actually pulls you in, and what feels weaker than it should.

We’d really like clear answers to a few simple things.

How does the pacing of the first chapter feel? Is the city comfortable and intuitive to explore? Do the adult scenes feel naturally integrated into the story? Are there moments where the game feels too slow or too abrupt?

If something didn’t work for you, say it directly. No need to soften it. Constructive criticism helps us move in the right direction much faster. The worst thing for development is silence.

We’re also open to ideas. Suggestions about mechanics, interface improvements, the relationship system, or which characters you’d like to see expanded. We can’t promise to implement everything, but every reasonable suggestion gets discussed within the team.

You can leave feedback in the comments, on Discord, in direct messages, or on any platform where it’s convenient for you.

We’re actively working on Version 0.2 right now, and this is the moment when feedback actually makes a difference. If you want to help shape the future of the project, this is the time to speak up.

The game was ok so far. Pacing of text felt a little bad, with characters talking too much without saying anything meaningful. The section with hanging posters up was bad, as the spots to place the posters were not easy to see.

Thanks for the feedback. We’ll definitely work on improving those issues.

ok so, i've been playing the game until i finished all the available quests, and there's only 2 things i'd like to share my opinion about:
1- the background characters: they are obviously made with AI, will they be hand-made in future updates??
2- will animations have more frames to look more fluid?? or they will stay like that?? (i don't like how the low-frame animations look)

I can confidently say yes. The content won’t just expand - it will continue to improve as well. We’re not only focused on adding new things, but also on refining and upgrading what’s already in the game.

Well, just played some but not all currently available. I honestly was expecting this game to be Genshin Impact but Dating Sim. Now though, I don't really know what I was expecting. I'm looking around the map, taking in sights, talking to random people to get a feel for the world and doing odd jobs.

I did some stuff, but again didn't really finish this version, so I guess I just want more for my time and effort, more interactions and experiences, more to buy with my money like decorations related to Genshin Impact, or even collectibles for our room like maybe items showing or telling players how you made this game, or just something that is worth spending money on in game and maybe the characters important or otherwise like events started by giving gifts. Like random npc interactions that involve beggars being given money and them providing advice or a story, or an attractive traveling merchant with odd stuff that pops in from time to time that is always worth the money. I just want more engagement with world since there already is stuff like that with potential encounters in the market.

Also, I never met a certain food ration that usually gives advice, do they show up at some point or are they not in this game beyond talking to us the player?

Anyway, I just want more engagement and interactions, more story (main story and side stories), and stuff to spend in game money on. Maybe mini games that can be brain teasers for upcoming character interactions. Also, more actual choices that effect things.

I like the game so far, I just want more everything.

Thank you for such detailed feedback. We completely agree: there’s still a lot we can add to the game. We’ll definitely keep expanding it with more content in every update.
