What the hell just happened? I guess most people can relate to the experience tho (?). Anyways about the game itself, the 2.5D artstyle was quite interesting and the entire experience felt quite surreal between the hobo king (all of us game devs in a few years) and the swole rats. The only think i would say was off was the way the camera worked; maybe having it less sensitive would help? Also i feel like it's a waste to have two fists for two mouse clicks but not using them but that's just me being me. Good job! If one of you guys had time to check our game it would nice!

This was fun! I'm a fan of the combat mechanics and the 2.5D style, really cool. Story was entertaining too, nice job!

Wow what a trip. So long! and the story was fun. It's really funny we both had rats in sewers :) It's not easy being on the same wavelength with a team of 8 devs.

The mix of pixel art with normal textures is an interesting choice. But the beating reminded me of like and old school "3D" game.  I enjoyed playing it! Love from Belgium

That was a trip lol

I'll say the sensitivity was way too high, and at the end I got to the dragon, didn't fight him and jumped through the portal and that brought me back to the start? I'm not sure if that was intended or not

Thanks for sharing

Very coolio! Crazy you were able to manage a project with such large scale, team yet such a small time frame! Impressive! You should try out our game as well!

Fist fighting scantily clad sewer rats was not on my bingo card for this game jam, although I have to admit I enjoyed the experience!

When bartender won't give you another round of Oily Oafs so you go and beat JoJo Rats in the sewer. Really surreal experience.

TODO: Find name is my favourite NPC this year.

Developer

thank you for playing and noticing the subtle jojo reference, as the artist, i really appreciate it
