Game page:Next Dream
I’ve released a new playable version of Next Dream. This update fixes several bugs reported by players, adds a loading animation, and improves controls for a smoother gameplay experience.

You can download and play the latest version from the game page.

This update focuses on three main areas:

  • Upgraded visuals, replacing all prototype assets with final art

  • Added a wide range of sound effects, including BGM and SFX, such as item collisions, disappearance and respawn sounds, ability acquisition, footsteps, and more.

  • Added menus, including graphics, audio (still has some bugs), and control settings

I sincerely hope you’ll try the latest version of the game and share your valuable feedback. Feel free to leave a comment — I’ll check here regularly and respond as soon as possible. I hope the game I’m developing brings you even more joy.

Although the game now uses final assets, I’ve found it very difficult to make everything feel cohesive. Most of the assets I’m using are free ones from Fab.

Especially with art assets, it’s challenging to maintain a consistent visual style. How do others usually handle this situation?
