I think this was such a good idea and I enjoyed playing through the whole thing! Overall the minigames were fun but I would've loved if there was a more cohesive creepy/nightmarish graphics style. Nice job!
I liked the concept of this game! The different minigames were cool! I couldn't get into the last room the door just wouldnt open
Thanks. The last door is actually locked. You have to go through the other door of the same house. Inside, there are two people on the bed, if you noticed. They both have separate nightmare levels.
cool game!
Short and sweet game! I like the idea of the different minigames within the dreams and the narrative behind it. The shooting minigame was fun but maybe a little too short and easy. The one sliding on the rope maybe was a little too loud in comparison to everything else. The rest were pretty much alright, but maybe you could try to fine tune the length of some of them to keep the most fun ones going for longer.
I agree with the issues you have mentioned, especially adjusting the length, and will definitely work on them if I continue this game. Thanks for playing.
Very nicely looking, satisfying mini games, great game. Great job!
Really cool idea! I like how each nightmare is a different mini-game, it keeps things fun and unpredictable.
I noticed some minigames are too hard and some soo easy, I also think the game where a guy tries to stab you should be a bit shorter as it gets repetitive fast.
Some extra polish and background music would make it even better, but overall it’s creative and enjoyable. Nice job!
Thanks! I will definitely add some polish and music if I continue this project.
Great idea, nice execution. The lack of music was quite disapointed esspicaly since the SFX was quite repetitive. And the stark contrast between the overworld art and the minigame art wasn't really pleasing.
Thanks. I know the audio isn't the best. I was left with only about half a day in the end to add audio, lacking time management skills, so I did everything I could. As for the art, the overworld art was from a free art asset, while the ones in the levels were made by me. Not too good, I know, but I am working on it. Thanks for the comment!
What a nice idea, and great execution aswell. My favourite one was the "getting hunted by a burger" dream :D
Thanks! That level is my favorite too!
That pixel art was straight up Stardew valley, I was into it! The games themselves were rather simple, but the abundance of them made up for that. I do wish that old lady swatting at me was a bit shorter, but otherwise had fun!
Thanks a lot. I know that stabbing dream turned out to be a bit longer than I had imagined. Good to know you still liked it!
This was so much fun! Each mini-game was unique and short enough to keep them interesting! Great concept as well as execution!
Thank you. I intentionally made them small so that they could be made within the deadline. Good to know you liked the execution as well!
I like that there are different mini games to play. It's fun to play. Great work for doing many stuff in a week :)
Thank you :)
Great game! I really liked the concept itself, as well as the visuals and sound design (except for the cannon dream sequence, which is pretty bad).
Thanks. And sorry for the cannon sound effects, I added them last minute.
pixel art and audio is okayish. i like the variations of gameplay and the randomness of the nightmares which both follows the theme strange places and made me enjoy it. it could do a bit more polish and ambience to set the feeling, but overall i see this as an original concept that has a lot of potential!
Thank you. I know art and sound isn't my strong suit but I'm working on it slowly. I intentionally made the dreams random and different to make them feel strange. Nice to know you liked it!
I love the concept, it’s really creative and tense! Some parts could use more polish and development, but overall it was a lot of fun to play
Really cool game! The concept is interesting and I love how each dream has it's own gameplay style. It's really impressive how you made all of those different types of games in a week by yourself. Amazing job!
cute game i like the idea <3
I'm not a huge fan of the art style it's pretty basic and sometimes sprites don't fit together . The audio is okay tier but the gameplay is not bad , It makes me remember Wario ware or mario party mini game , it is really good . So the things that need some upgrades is just graphivs and sfx , a little bit more of human inside that project and it's perfect , great job !
Thanks. I'll work on the things you mentioned.
Very fun! I love how each person has a different mini game!
First of all, you finished a game that looks great overall — and achieving that in just 7 days is impressive. Great job!
Things I liked:
Congratulations on completing such a large number of minigames with no major bugs in just one week. That’s a great achievement.
The visuals are very beautiful. Well-made pixel art is always appealing.
Constructive Feedback:
You could consider adding some kind of scoring system, where players earn points based on their performance in each minigame. This would help increase replayability and give players more motivation to improve their results.
Thanks for the nice suggestion, I will definitely try to implement it in the future. Thanks for playing!
I liked it. That's a really nice way to put several mini games together as one story. Not sure that the comparison is proper, but it looks a bit similar to what WarioWare does.
The game could use some background music putting you in the proper mood, though.
Also, it would be nice if you wrote general controls on the game page, because first time I got a tip what the controls are, I couldn't close it and start the level for quite a while. Enter is not the most popular confirmation button, so it would be nice to know that I need to press it to skip the instructions in advance.
Overall, good job! Thanks for sharing the game :D
Thank you. So good to know you liked it. I will start adding some music in my games from now on.
And yes, I forgot to add the controls on the game page. Should have added spacebar as another input to close the controls panel, or maybe a skip button. Thanks for the suggestion!
