Nice little game. Unfortunately, with only one object you need to hit and no physics beyond the catapult it lacks the strategic depth that similar games such as Angry Birds have. The concept and art are really cute. I don't know how many times I killed the cow before I managed to hit the UFO lol

I don't know if that wouldn't be against the rules of the original jam you made this game for, but you could make the main gameplay loop 20 seconds and then try to turn it into some kind of roguelike or a something like that, where each "level" or wave would last 20 seconds and then you could buy some stuff for example. That would give the game another layer of strategic depth, and would make it even more replayable.

Also: did you make the art for the thumbnail and the game yourself or did you use AI? AFAIK AI art isn't allowed in this particular game jam. I'm asking because it has that light yellow tint which AI sometimes adds, but it could also be just normal non-AI art

This was a cute take on a physic slingshot style game. I ended up killing the cow a bunch as I figured out the right angles on the slingshot. If I missed I found myself sometime jumping the gun and pressing to soon for the next shot. It would be nice if there was an indicator of where the full mark for the delay time was at. Perhaps a faint outline behind it or a border around the area that fills. Something you can compare the current bar against to better time your next shot. A short sound playing when ready to fire could also help with knowing when to click for the next shot. The game works well for the 20 second time limit of the original jam.

Cute game! I thought it was a really funny detail (and gameplay mechanic) that you could kill the cow with your slingshot as it added a bit more stakes to aiming the shot. I also liked the movement of the UFOs and the risk/reward of trying to snipe them early. Sometimes the first UFO spawns in and snags the cow VERY quickly and it can seem slightly unforgiving, however, the game can be restarted so quickly that I don't think it matters (and I kind of like that there is a high skill ceiling as it feels satisfying to get better over time).

Really well done!
