Hey guys, I’m going to have to make a last-minute announcement.
I don’t usually make these kinds of announcements, it’s nothing particularly worrying, but it’s to report an error related to Android version 2.
I’ve received some comments from several users who are having problems with Android version V2, unexpected crashes, or poor performance.
Was this to be expected?
Yes, but not to such an extent. It was to be expected, it’s inevitable, but it’s been too common. I’ve come to the conclusion that Android users with less than or equal to 4GB of RAM (approximately) are at risk of crashes or poor performance while playing the Port.
Even so, over the next few days, I will keep you informed about whether I can optimize this new version much more.
As a temporary measure, I am leaving both ports visible, the new Android V2 version (more content, less performance) and the old version (better for users with phones with less than 4GB of RAM).
Again, this is temporary. The Port works correctly and without problems for users with 5 or more GB of RAM.
I apologize for the inconvenience, and again, it’s not a particularly serious issue, but I don’t want to ruin anyone’s experience, and I want everyone to be able to play this port.
I have been doing tests, and I got the following conclusion of requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (The game may not be stable for playing)
- 400 MB of Space
- 3 or 4 GB of RAM
- Android 7 to 15
RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS:
- 1GB of Space
- 6GB of more of RAM
- Android 7 to 15
That would be the CURRENT list of requirements in order to play the game. Users with the minimum requirements will experiment crashes or bad performance. Again, this it’s gonna be temporal, I’m going to improve the performance over the next week.
