Nice twist on the survivor-style genre.
The gameplay feedback feels great.
Well done! 💚
Feel free to check out our game too.

Solid implementation of the survivor-like genre! I really liked the twist with mouse-controlled projectiles—it gives the player more agency compared to the typical auto-aiming systems. The minimalist geometric style is very clean and easy on the eyes.

To make it even better, I'd suggest adding some background music to enhance the atmosphere, as it feels a bit quiet right now. Also, the difficulty curve is quite flat; making the boss or the enemies stronger in each new loop would keep the challenge alive. Great job on getting the core mechanics working so smoothly

thank you! i've started working on this as a full game, although swapping out the theme for something easier to market haha

A really fun game, the movement and attacking felt pretty great paired with the sound effects. i played for 6 waves and only after the fourth it started to feel a little repetetive. I liked the different power ups but i guess the most fun were the increase in speed and size. If i had to think about feedbacks, maybe allow the game to be paused and create non linear projectiles since after a while it gets pretty easy. Keep it up and please check our game as well!

Okay, its a pretty interesting concept and I certainly had fun. The power scaling feels nice, geometric is very neat and I didn't get tired collecting exp and levelling up at all. Honestly a very nice and chill entry. The only thing I would recommend is making a web build next time. Quite a lot of people unfortunately wouldn't spend their time downloading a game during game jam. But I am personally glad I did. Keep up the good work!

thanks! yeah unfortunately Godot 4 doesn't support web builds for C# yet, which I only realized after making the entire game 😭

My wife left me for playing this game too much. 10/10
