What's the strangest/funniest bug you encountered while making your game?
Fail a minigame once and you are sent to the place before the minigame - still do not know hy

Don't forget to add the title of the jam somewhere in your submission page!
It's there!

Great game and fits well with the theme, I had fun with the battle system and finding out how to get out of the loop felt sadifying since I figured it out on my own. Not to mention the music (espically the battle theme) being very fitting. My only issue is the lack of polish (that might be due to time constraints which I understand) and the shortness of the game, which I felt could have been combated by adding more NPC (problobly the other students). Also I think the game could have been a bit more direct with telling you, "you need to escape the loop" but that's just a prefrence.

sadly it was unplayable for me after I met with "mark" and tried to figure out how to  fight wich i didnt when i exited i spawned off the map

Hello! Thank you for playing and your comment.
The minigame involves you shooting the eyes with [SPACE], move with the movement keys {WASD/ARROWS], I can add more clear instructions in dialogue or in game text if needed.
As for you spawning off the map, do you have more details of how this happened and what the whole game screen looked like? And what version of the game did you play?

Let me know! Thanks for checking my game out and giving feedback!!

Interesting gameplay! Interesting music, I really liked it.
The music coul've been looping, I'd really like that. When the song ended, it just ended. I had an issue in the field where the guy says " 'Sup" and then the game softlocked.

Thank you for letting me know what needs work. Glad you liked the gameplay, I'll tell composer the music is good too!
As for music looping we can get that fixed by tweaking the sound files which I may do in a later update. As for the issue with Ms Salazar's " 'Sup" dialogue, I am working to get that fixed, hopefully soon.
Thank you for playing, enjoying, and giving feedback!

I really like the eye mini-game once I figured out how to play it. Really had absolutely no idea where to go though, or what I was supposed to do. Felt directionless wandering around without any kind of objective. Found a spot inside the academy at the beginning where I could walk outside the hallway, not sure if that's on purpose or not. Felt like maybe not. If you have time, you should make it more obvious what you're expected to do, maybe some dialog at the start, or just some on-screen text, and I think it would help with the aimless wandering. I will say, tho, the music was really good. It was super chill, and seemed to fit the vibe you were going for. Overall, enjoyed the game.

Thank you for playing and your comment, it helps improve the end product!
I am working on adding more QOL stuff, some of which was added with Version 1.3 such as more clear instructions. Collision was addressed as well, and I am working on fixing other collision issues I may find.  Glad you like the music, too, composer will be glad to hear it!
I'm happy you enjoyed the game!!

Where the heck are the wind spirits?

Positives:

+I could code to this music pretty comfortably. I like it!

+the color choice was nice all throughout

+the world building and setting were a nice touch. I like the characters and the fact there seems to be a larger world outside of what we experience.

+character art was very nice

Suggestions:

>the overworld, trees, and school felt like they were made in ms paint contrasting with the character art.

> I would like better instructions as to what my objective is. I went straight to the professor and got the bad ending. I booted it up again and again couldn't find anything in the overworld.

>would love controller support

Overall:

Cool world and personality but no clue how to play it.

Helloooo

I looked at the game and I see what you mean. You're not supposed to be sent to that ending so early, I'll fix it!

Thank you for the comment I appreciate the advice. Glad you also find things to like about the game. I can add instructions in game, I’ll tell you here as well in case you give it another shot. The wind spirits show up in the overworld starting at wind phase 12, one in the north research field, two others  in other parts of the overworld.

They have a ghostly look so they’ll stand out once they start showing up.

Thank you for playing!

EDIT: what you were experiencing was a remnant of playtesting and has now been fixed!!
