Great jam game!
One of the best for me so far. I love puzzles and this game is super enjoyable. Thanks. Really. You guys made incredible work. Grafics and simple and nice - very good choise for difficulty puzzles. The music is also good choise
However I have to mention the bad things in your game. First one is sound effect when you painting the tile. It's too loud and breaks all atmosphere. Yes it's a very small detail but only this is enough. Second the size of the player maybe the shape too but the size is on first place. You should make it a bit smaller or also a great desicion would be to move player by grid only and avoid 2x2 tile setup like it was in the last level. Especially in the first level you can feel that you have to push to the wall to avoid accidently paint the tile wrong color
Well as I said earlier it's one of the best games I've seen so far. Amazing job and INCREDIBLY UNDERRATED. Like HOW THIS EVEN HAVE ONLY 13 RATINGS?
This is a genius concept -as far as I know totally original. Some of the puzzles are really deftly made as well - a really nice mix of levels that require all your brain cells and levels where you spend ages staring at the gray blocks trying to work out an optimal path only to realise the solution is 1) obvious and 2) has been right in front of you the whole time.
Graphically this is obviously highly minimalistic, but it's striking nonetheless. The puzzles, when taken as a whole, are cool little art pieces in and of themselves. Music also very fitting aesthetically.
Not sure how long it takes to make one these levels, but a JS+HTML version of this that supports a Wordle-styled "puzzle of the day" would keep me amused for months.
Fantastic job. Best game I've rated so far.
I like puzzle games, and you have some really interesting rules here. The first two introductory puzzles are especially strong and do a great job of teaching the mechanics. After that, my experience was a bit mixed. Some of the later levels felt more like riddles than traditional puzzles, with many options to consider, and not being able to see everything on one screen sometimes made them harder to read. I think there’s a lot of potential in the idea, and with a bit more clarity in the puzzle design, it could really shine.
This is a really clever puzzle game. I enjoyed playing it. The last level feels very different to the others because you can't see it all in one go and make a plan easily.
Very challenging puzzle design, makes me wish there were a couple simpler introductory levels lol
extremely fun! the tune were great, the sound effects were perfect, fantastic puzzle premise. well done! would love to play more levels!
For some reason this reminded me of Chip's Challenge which was very nostalgic. I definitely found it challenging but not overly-so which made for a feeling of satisfaction when beating a level. Great music and minimalistic art style as well which I personally usually prefer for puzzle games.
This is an interesting take on a labyrinth game!
I dont know how I managed to beat the last level, but it sure did take all of my monke brain cells.
The search space for solutions grows extremely quickly, making the last level feel a overwhelming, but satisfying to beat in the end ^^
Nice work overall, very chill :)
