Congratulations for 3rd place in Brackeys 2026.1 ❤️
i was wondering what software did you use for art?

Developer(+2)

Thanks so much! ⭐️ We had a few artists on the team; a lot of the environments were made using Clip Studio Paint - while others, especially the animated parts, were created in Harmony. The pixel art was created in Aseprite. :)

Incredible - felt polished, looks and sounds great, inventive, funny. Can hardly believe this was put together in just a week! This would be a fantastic game, even outside of a jam!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words!

My favourite game of the jam. Everything is wonderful - graphics, audio, voiceover, and theme. The polish and professionalism is off the charts.

The Pizza level was really hard. I made a many corpse pizzas. Thanks for the ~ menu

"Would eat the crotch off a low flying duck" and "This place is just fucked" were the 2 highlights.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Pizza was quite hard to see some of the falling toppings (the olive was especially hard to see in my opinion). Glad the ~ helped :)

Have no words to describe how it actually looks and feels so professional. A lot of pretty unique and challenging levels. Have a lot of fun playing in it, especially the helicopter eyes changing dimensions based on movement and the last screen where all devs illustrated as some giant creatures looking at me playing this game.

Would like to praise the teamwork rather than individual parts as the game was made by the whole team of 6 people - here the most outstanding thing in my opinion.

Developer

Thank you for praising us as a team! Very happy with how it came out and happy you enjoyed it!

This game is straight up stacked!

Art is gorgeous, the tile screen is sick, and the voice acting is hilarious. I also love that your dead bodies stay behind like little "here's where you messed up" markers.

The level variety is packing; it never got stale. You'll go from dodging falling stuff, to wind, to that red-light/green-light section (so good), and then suddenly you're in the dance club getting a breather. Even the credits had me laughing ("who the hell are these creeps..." lol) And yes.....I saw the alien booty too XD

The audio track fits perfectly and all the sound effects are so well done. Great job creating those. Really fun ride to start from finish. An incredibly polished and amazing piece of work.

Thank you for the kind words! You've complimented all of us at once, it's so lovely! :)

Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at the playthrough again in the future here's the VOD timestamped to your game

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and the timestamp too!

Loved the art style the gameplay, the instructions and the fact I can see my corpses to remind me of my prior faliures.

Developer

The best way to improve is to fail fast, fail often and learn from those failures... Let's pretend that's why you can see your previous deaths and not because we thought it would be funny.

Thank you for the kind words :)

Super polished! It's insane that you guys pulled off a game of this quality in just one week. Those hand-drawn animations for the characters and portals look amazing. Big fan of Pizza Island!

Developer

I've always preferred the sandwich dimension. Thank you for the kind words , blessed to have some amazing artists on board for the jam :)
