The writing and the characters are charming, unusual, a little awkward in an amusing way, and funny. I got to attack a RICH GUY with a Chainsaw, and that's always fun. GEEZERBOT is a bad community member! The encounter rate is a bit high but forgiven given the length of the game. I like the interesting twist of the skills of one of the party not going off after one turn, and the bystander calling in reinforcements.

RICH GUYs and chainsaws go together like EVEN RICHER GUYs and attack-stat-boosted chainsaws :) So glad you liked the characters and some of the twists on the gameplay---and definitely noted on the encounter rate! Thank you so much for playing!! :D

This was a really cute game. The writing was really good and I thought the introduction was well done. The story is cute and I appreciate the philosophical contextualization of love before introducing two robots as our protagonists.
I was surprised by the lack of a experience point system. The random encounters were a little frequent and the ambush after the corner store definitely gave me a run for my money. Other than that, I thought this was very endearing and I would like to see more writing like this in games.

Aw, thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked the writing and the intro---that was definitely an important part to me, so I'm glad it played out to a good effect! And thank you for the note on the encounter rate and difficulty; it's super helpful for figuring out my footing with balancing a bigger game!

 Thanks again!!

The WebGL version of this game has a game breaking bug, but the download works perfectly fine. Please download it and dont let that disuade you from giving it a go as the turn based mechanics are satisfying to pull of but the writting is extremely witty and enjoyable even if it sometimes hits a bit close to home

Thank you so much for playing, and for the wonderfully kind words! (And sorry about the bug in the WebGL version, haha). I'm really glad to hear you liked the game and the writing, it definitely means a lot :)
