Doesn't run on my end, unfortunately
Great First Game, moving to the browser would be better because people don't like downloading, believe me, speaking from experience (UE5 Dev).
Congratulations on finishing your first game! That's a great achievement! The game has very promising potential. I agree with the previous comments; if you convert it to a web version in the future, the number of players will increase significantly because the idea is worthwhile. Excellent work!
Great first game! The idea is very neat and got some potential!!! I think u can def grow this into a bigger game post-jam, and it would be great! The game also fits the strange places theme very well! I'd say improvement on general QoL stuff, and polishing it more would do miracles already! The concept and visuals look promising from what I can see, though, if you upload it as a proper HTML web build on itch, more people could jump straight in without having to unzip files. That alone would make it feel way more accessible.

I tried playing it but i couldn't figure out how to start it sorry...
Good start for a first game! Getting the portal to the ghost town was a bit of a challenge, and it really does feel like a strange place. Being able to interact with several NPCs was cool too. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it definitely has solid potential, it made me curious about how the progression might develop. Nice job though!
Also, I noticed the game is currently uploaded as a downloadable zip, but it seems like it’s actually a web build. You might want to upload that zip as an HTML game and enable “This file will be played in the browser” on itch.io so people can play it directly on the page after the jam is over.
