Orbital ring doesn't increase available land?

I completed the orbital ring on Vega-2, and the side panel shows the expected increase in land.  Compared to the original stats, at start it was 32B, now it shows 71B (I've been expanding subterrainially).

But, there was no increase in *available* land, so my ability to build new colonies is still limited by the amount I can expand underground.

Is this a bug, or did I miss something?

(Also, it would be super cool to see the ring in Terraforming, but I realize this is a labor of love <grin>)

Thanks!

Hello,

I just tested this and I am not seeing a bug.  I built a ring, the project says there is a ring on my planet, and got the extra land, and I can use it.

If you suspect a bug, I encourage you to upload your save somewhere and I can take a look.

Thank you

I didn't make any file saves before or after.

I'll try it again and make some save files next time. Maybe it was an ID 10 T error, it's happened before.

Thanks!

OK, I guess you can build five rings per planet.

I made another ring and my available land went up ~5B. Seems like it should have been 36B?

I have reviewed the save file.  Vega-2 has 32B base land (as you said).  You got 32B extra from underground land expansion and 32B from the ring, totalling 96B.

I do not see any issues.
