How does the game fit the theme?
It is in a strange street enviroment with ninjas, zombies etc.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
some tilesets from opengameart but heavily edited. Code is written by me and except one tune (the boss victory music) the rest of music are all my chiptune and electronica compositions.

This is great fun, the world needs more side-scrolling beat em ups. Top work!

Nice game with good animation, but gameplay got repetitive and felt stale after a while

Developer

it is open to improvement. I focused mostly on mechanics and graphics.

I like combat animation. It might be a little lacking in juice when you hit an enemy. Otherwise it's funny, good job.

Wow, that was fun. I agree with previous comments - your camera work movement was well done, and I really like the sounds and music.

Very good game! It was really fun. The camera movement was really good, and the sprites and sounds, muak, super good. The player movement could be better, but is not bad or something like that, so it doesn't ruin the experience. Good work!

love the overall vibe and game! I recommend making the jump lower and WASD movement would be an awesome add as well.

Developer

thank you so much. I'll see your game too my friend. Very curious for other people's work too. Again thanks from the heart for taking your time

love me some beat em' ups and this one definitely delivers for a game jam! love how you implemented platforming to it as well. Keep up the great work!

Developer

Soo much thanks these words are meaningful and push me to make the work better ๐Ÿ˜Š I'll check your work too friend

Nice work! I'm impressed you did this on your own. I had fun and enjoyed the funny dialogue. I did wish I could use the WASD keys for movement. I learned what it was like to be right handed in a left handed world lol

Developer

I'm a bit old fashion guy grown up with dos and commodore games. ๐Ÿ˜† old habit of right hand keys. I agree with wasd would be better. Looking forward to see your game too my friend. Thanks for playing, much respect

Enjoyment: Rifat enjoyer here. Headbutting Ninjas. This game makes you rage, but the positive kind of rage where you enjoy beating the shit out of those thugs

Gameplay: pretty straight forward, would love to see combos. very satisfying combat

Innovation: nothing too new, but fun design. Add more powerups!

Theme:  a bit off, a city filled with thugs is not a very strange place but the sewer level saves the day!

Visuals: very bright and colorful, smooth animations very pleasing.

Audio: damn that is a sick track. Especially Stage 3, this theme goes HARD. Good job!

Developer

Wow amazing commend. Can't say i disagree with anything. Rifat dude has huge influence from Jason Statham ๐Ÿ˜„ I'm a side scroller platformer addict thats why for this jam i felt to go with it ๐Ÿ˜ i cant imagine to see ninjas walking around in my little town ๐Ÿ˜†

Joking aside really thank you so much for nice ideas and reasonable critics.
