How does the game fit the theme?
The Little Prince is a novella with very similar elements of a fairytale. These are known to have abnormal and strange elements, especially in this short story: you're stuck in the Lamplighter's house, situated on a tiny planet. This man is destined to turn on the lamp for eternity. What more strange than this?

This was a very cool game and I would love to see it turned into something bigger! The music is very beautiful and fits well with the game. Although, at some point after I got caught one of the times, it stopped playing. All the other SFX were very nice as well. I also really like all the little effects added onto the text. It gives it so much more character. The art also looks very good and the gameplay is smooth and not too difficult. Good job!
That what I was aiming for with the text, it's good you noticed!
I didn't know the music would stop, need to look It up, thanks for pointing it up and for playing!
One of the most well polished games I played til now during the jam, everything looks fine and cool to see and play. The texts have really cool effects, the visuals and sounds of the game are so atmospheric, great entry to the jam. It would be cool if the game grow up after the jam, to a longer experience. Congrats for your game
Thanks for playing, happy you enjoyed the game!
Good feeling game. I like that you made a nice UI with audiovisual effects. The game also has decent graphics and the platforming part is not half bad. My only issue is the fact that its hard to distinct which parts protect you from light, but checkpoints helped.
Fun game !! It was fun exploring the house and interacting with the different objects. I liked jumping on the duck. I also liked there were good checkpoints. At first I was confused how I died but then i just had to hide. Great game! Good work Kyrem
Happy you liked the objects! Took the time to make them fit and satisfying.
Thanks for playing!
GREAT GAME!
Lovely little stealth platformer with a really distinctive mood. The lighting mechanic is a great core idea, and the way the lamplighter patrols the background adds a lot of tension without needing complex systems. The pixel art and sound design work especially well together, it feels cozy and eerie at the same time.
My main confusion was figuring out exactly what counts as “safe.” A few times I thought I was completely hidden behind an object or in darkness but still got caught, which made the stealth feel a bit inconsistent. Clearer visual feedback for safe spots would make the experience much smoother without changing the challenge.
Aside from that, it was fun to play through, and the concept has a lot of room to grow into a longer experience. Nicely done.
Great work! Im hoping to see it post-jam, fully fledged out!!!
I'm happy you liked it! I agree with you, the safe spots aren't that clear but working on making them clearer.
Definitly going for a post jam update, thanks for playing!
nice game
