Really good! You maintain a lot of interest throughout and it definitely fits with the theme. I like the change in keyboard chord rhythms and the counterpoint between the instruments. My only criticisms are that occasionally, notes feel out of time slightly, and that the mix is a bit flat and could use some brightening.

The Lake tune sure has inspired quite a few of these submissions! This one has a fun brass lead that plays well with the synth countermelody. I would consider adding more of a presence in the higher frequencies - I know that the synth speeds up into it sometimes, but having more strings, or possibly an octave double of the melody, could give the song a fuller feeling.

Overall, I thought it was a neat tune. I would recommend varying the song up because it kind of sounded like the same thing throughout, whether it be a key change or a new melody. Mixing quality was great and I enjoyed the nice laidback jazz quality it had.

Very soothing, and I'm a big fan of the brass lead, gives the piece a smooth jazz flavor. I think the first section does a good job of standing out from the original Lake, but I feel the B section is a little too similar, with the metric modulation and the chords stabbing on very similar beats, I'd like to have heard something a little different than what the Lake Verity theme does. It'd have also been cool to here a different instrument take the lead at some point while the brass places during the empty spaces in the melody. I really liked when the strings would sustain a chord at the end of the phrases and build up before dropping off, while it was also in the original, it still was a cool effect nonetheless. I think it's not far from really reaching it's potential, good job!
