How does the game fit the theme?
It fits the theme because the game takes place in strange shifting dimensions where the world changes between 2D and 3D. This creates places that do not behave normally and would feel confusing and unusual to exist in. It is also strange from the character’s perspective, since the square is moving through and discovering these unfamiliar dimensions for the first time.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All assets were made by us, expect for the tesseract. Music was made in house, all assets and all code was written by us.
How many people worked on the game?4

Born to cube. Forced to Square. - that killed me XD
I love that there are both 2d and 3d as a gameplay! I see there are people (incl. me) that didn't know how to use 3d in the game, so it's a good idea to add a tutorial at the start :)
Very creative game! The only thing I got is the 3d thing only written in description, but this could be a cool post-jam game! Nice work!
Very interesting game. I like the puzzles. Music is great, but a bit too repetitive in my opinion. Overall, it's a really good game.
Great game nice combination of rotation only in 2d and being in the right 3d layer to move
at first I didn't know I can switch to 3D rotation until I got stuck and read the description, love the idea and level design!
The idea of rotating levels is so cool! Sadly I did not make it passed the green level what should I do there?
But overall really polished game i definitly enjoyed!
Try pressing shift and moving your mouse gently ;)
Thanks I try it again :)
You guys did fantastic, the style, colors and the idea of 2d and 3d perspective to beat the levels is so cool, and cubey looks so cute. Overall, lovely game.
absolutely loved this game, I love how you can manipulate the map by touching the walls and going into 3d. overall great game that fits the theme perfectly❤
thx!!!
This game has so much potential! Hope you continue developing it. Keep up the good work!
Ey! Thank you so much! Ur game is great too!!!
Love a cute puzzle platformer. We also considered a multi-dimensional game as a concept but choose something else instead. I doubt ours would've been this good!
Haha, appreciate the kind words!
Hi
This was AWESOME!
The change from 2 to 3 is so cool.
This sort of puzzle game really can tickle one's brains.
Loves the coulours and the simple, but complex levels.
Thank you
Thanks! :D
Mindblowing game. Especially the level with white box idk if this is last, when I realised the white box can change gravity I gave up on it, maybe I'll complete it later, so please dont spoiler :D
I'd give you 6 for creativity. Also realisation is quite decent. Despite I really disliked the controls and 3D lights, the artstyle, sounds and leveldesign here are at very high level. Amazing job! Thanks for the game
Woah! Thank you so much for all the kind words!!! Im so glad you enjoyed our game!
Smooth and satisfying gameplay. Good job!
Thx :)
I really enjoyed this game!
It was super fun to play and the game felt very creativeand the obstacle's have a clever design
Great job!
:D Thanks! I love ur game!!!
Solid game. The core mechanic is executed really well. But my question would be why would the player not be incentivized to play the game entirely in 3D mode. I think there needs to be some kind of reinforcement to force the player to switch between 2D and 3D mode (Maybe like gaping the platforms far apart in 3D so that it's only doable in 2D). That's just a minor things I was thinking about. But overall great game!.
Thank you so much for the kind words! To answer your question, there a few things:
No1 you are right, the exact gaping mechanic of moving between platforms in 2d as the gap is too big in 3d was in one of the levels originally but it had to be scrapped due to time constraints!
No2 You cant rotate the room in 3d
No3 In 3d, the Z axis movement is enabled, which means that if you going by a straight platform it would be harder to move side to side on it, switching to 2d, allows for straight movement side to side, an example is the purple level, where you have to go on a plank to reach the checkpoint!
But I do really appreciate the brutal feedback, and we're going to hopefully fix this post-jam! Thx!!!
Really cool concept, loved the puzzles and use of dimensions. Great job!
1 detail is when reaching the tesseract, add some feedback to player that they completed the level
Alr! Thx for the feedback!!!
Cool concept! Switching between gravity + 2D/3D to solve puzzles feels really cool, and it bring a lot more possibilities of how to solving it too!
My personally, the BGM is a bit too intense for me, and it feels a little bit “looping”, might make it feel more quickly to start get frustrating, maybe a calmer one would better too!
Anyway, It’s a really good idea! And the execution is great too! Great Work!
Very cool game with great visuals, good music, and a very interesting gameplay mechanic. The puzzle difficulty felt well balanced.
I found a small bug. When restarting the purple level, the box reset, but not my own position.
Done all the levels, and I think the game is quite fun! It reminds me a lot of the flash game Shift, with a similar level rotating mechanics. The platforming challenges are quite nicely designed, clearly with quite some thought behind each level. I especially enjoyed the level with the grey box trapped in the centre of the room. It feels so satisfying when you finally get that cube outside the confinement and use it as a stepping stone. Nicely done. The 2D to 3D switch is also quite nice, though I would hope the game would collapse the dimensions instead of staying on the same Z position after changing to 2D. (think FEZ) It would definitely make the puzzle more enjoyable without some phasing through walls nonsense. Overall, this is quite nicely done as a jam game! Keep up the good work!

Suggestions:
I really liked the game and its multidimentional puzzles! They were really well thought and not overwhelming as the many mechanics were introduced slowly. Definitly some strange places here.
Didn't really understand the white block as it is supposed to make the room rotate but touching it didn't change.
Overall really enjoyed this game, well done!
