The demo freezes ---- ---- got to the new "wall", game froze. So I exit, click continue, takes me back to the freeze spot. Game looks really interesting but demo is unplayable. The post about this has been up at Steam with no reply.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to try the demo and leave feedback. I’m sorry to hear you ran into a freeze at the wall section near the end of Chapter 1.

I’ve personally play-tested the demo multiple times and was able to complete it without any freezing issues. The demo available on both Steam and Itch.io is the exact same updated build, and both versions have been working correctly during testing. If the issue persists on your end, please make sure all of the game files are properly extracted and located inside the game folder. Missing or misplaced files can sometimes cause problems like this. Regarding the Num0 key, that was a design choice for certain functions as I mainly us arrow keys. However, I understand that many players are used to using ESC in RPG Maker games, so that’s something I may adjust in a future update based on feedback.

I also appreciate the note about Discord. I understand that not everyone uses it, which is why feedback through Steam reviews and other platforms is still very helpful.

Also! I want to inform you that as well., I am doing a massive graphics overhaul so I’ll be updating the demo soon with the new changes and will playtest and make sure any changes are tested before uploaded.

Well, I'll wait for the update and try it again. But you should know that I discovered the same problem on another computer and the same problem was reported at the game forum I use by 2 other users.

Hope the update takes care of it because the game looks really great!
