This song fits very well as an early gen battle theme. I might consider making the melody less legato in some places - adding in some spaces may help it breathe a bit more. Good use of syncopation to keep the rhythm going.

Description
I drew inspiration from both the anime and the games, mostly the N64 Pokémon Stadium, but restricted myself to using only three voicelines, just as Junichi Masuda did on the Game Boy Color. Instead of a DAW, I used MuseScore, writing the music directly as sheet music. This method made it easier for me to write the counterpoint. I used the stock sounds in MuseScore to achieve a retro sound.
