Description
Based off of “Pokemon: Red and Blue”. I listened to the couple first OST tracks and tried to get the closest instruments I could. I am proud of the snare because it is pretty similar.

I could see this being the background to some kind of title sequence. There are a lot of fun harmonies happening here and it gives a good sense of adventure. The only thing I would change is to make the chords a bit less loud.

There's a complexity in this that you made work, which is great. It also sounds like it belongs on the game you're imitating! The only criticism I have is that it's a bit short. Extending it and allowing for a contrasting section in the middle would be cool.

I really like the textural contrast between the A and B sections and the added hits you used in the final A section  - I thought the interplay between the bass and snare was extremely engaging - I'm a bass player and would've enjoyed playing something like that with a drummer.  I noticed the track came out pretty loud in my headphones at the same volume as other tracks - not really a big issue, I just thought I'd mention it. Fantastic work imitating the style and overall.

There's some cool counterpoint in here, as well as some call and response that's really nice. These characteristics really fit with the rby style you were going for. It makes for a cool town or route theme!

I can hear this being music that plays when about to battle a Team Rocket grunt haha. Nice! The synth that comes in the last third really adds to the grunt vibe. As for something to consider tweaking, for me, the intro bar make it seem like we are about to go into a happy tune. I think using a few different notes to make it little more dirty sounding would be cool. And then just keep the snare out for that intro bar. Overall thoug, really dig it!
