We are a small early- stage game studio with a limited budget, but every task is paid. Work is broken into small milestones. As project grows and receives funding, we are willing to increase pay for ongoing contributors. We are also looking for long term contributors who want to grow with the project.

Animated multiplayer stealth-survival game set inside a massive store after closing. Will be released on steam this year.

MADOX-01 is an independent game studio focused on building original interactive experiences with long-term vision. The studio develops system-driven worlds designed to reward mastery, sustain player engagement, and evolve over time. We build games that are meant to be beautiful. For us, beauty is structural. It is reflected in cohesive mechanics, disciplined world-building, and design decisions that hold up under repeated play.  We believe lasting games are built through intentional systems and technical integrity rather than short-term trends.

If you are wanting to learn more about the project or are potentially interested in any way, please reach out.  You can reach us here or at our email madoxgamestudios@gmail.com.

Hello, can you share details about position, requirements, potential payment range (at least) and what your project looks like?

Pay is broken up into milestones we can pay 30-80 for small tasks ( a few hours) and 80-150 for multi day tasks. We are willing to discuss more about pay if you are interested and types of pay. We are looking for someone that knows unreal engine and can help with gameplay systems, blueprints/C++, and small features implementation. We are trying to hit a milestone of 3-4 months for release and as the project grows and receives funding and revenue we plan to increase pay and expand ongoing roles. If this sounds like a good fit or if you have any more questions for me please reach out I would love to chat.

I am not good at C++, but otherwise I am advanced UE dev on blueprints. If that is fine, I want to also know what project it is, do you have website or any material about it?

We would love to met with you if you are available to talk more about the project. Do you have anytime tomorrow later in the day or Wednesday so i can share with you more about the project.

Yeah, sure. What is your time zone? Mine is +4 UTC.  Discrod: grimone_official

We can meet this Saturday at 10PM UTC+ Time Zone we are in MST zone we are based in Utah right now

Hmm, that's 2 AM for me, but I can attend

We can do later we were trying to fit into your time frame. We are in MST in Utah and can do most days after 3:00 PM. If there is a time that works best for you let us know.

We can also meet on a Saturday if that doesn't work earlier.

I did a research, MST is -11 from my timezone, so the best time in given circumstances is 11 PM MST, it will be 10 AM for me which is fine.

If you send us an email at madoxgamestudios@gmail.com we can send you a meeting link and time to meet.

I have written email

Hey! This project sounds really interesting, I love the focus on system-driven design and long-term structural integrity. That philosophy resonates a lot with how I approach development.

I’m an Unreal Engine programmer with 3+ years of experience, in C++ and about 6 months in unreals bluepring system. currently a 1st year Game Development student. Most of my experience is in Unity, where I’ve worked on gameplay systems, mechanics implementation, UI systems, and core architecture. I’m especially interested in multiplayer systems, structured mechanics, and designing features that hold up under repeated play.

I’m very comfortable working in milestone-based pipelines and small, focused tasks. I’m also looking for long-term projects where I can grow alongside the team and contribute consistently as the project scales.

You can check out my work on my Itch.io portfolio, I’m happy to send the link directly. I’d love to learn more about the stealth-survival project and see where I could fit in.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

We would love to set up a time this week to meet with you to discuss the project further. If you have time later tomorrow or Wednesday later in the day as well we would love to meet with you. If you would be willing to email us at madoxgamestudios@gmail.com with some timeframes that might work I would appreciate hearing from you.

Hi MADOX-01 team,

Your project sounds awesome, and I really connect with the way you describe your studio’s vision, especially the idea that beauty comes from strong systems and thoughtful design, not just visuals. A multiplayer stealth-survival game inside a huge store after closing is a really unique setting.

I’m a Unity game developer with 9+ years of experience, and I enjoy working on gameplay systems, multiplayer features, and mechanics that feel solid and rewarding over time. I like projects where the focus is on learning, improving, and building something meaningful rather than rushing out features.

I’m totally fine working with milestone-based tasks and a growing project budget. I’m looking for a long-term collaboration where I can help the game evolve and grow alongside the team.

I’d love to hear more about the project and see how I could contribute as a programmer. If you’re open to it, I’d be happy to chat and learn more about your goals and timeline.

Thanks, and I hope to connect soon!
