Description
This is a soundtrack inspired by the game Pokemon Legends Z-A. I captured the essence of synths, but also added guitars, harps, and an acoustic drum kit.

This is a nice battle theme, it has movement and has a sort of airy element to it at the same time. I could see this playing in a flying type gym. The low frequencies are a bit crowded and it's hard to make out the bassline over the low synths. I would also turn down the guitar a bit at the end.
Thanks for the feedback, it should look really cool in an arena. I understand, thank you very much, I will pay more attention to the low frequencies.
Oh boy! I can’t speak if it’s accurate to this newer era cause I’m frankly oblivious to it, but this is a great synth track regardless!
What I like most is the stereo image. All the textures have places to sit and move enough to catch my attention once in a while in rotation!
Thank you so much for your feedback! :), I'm glad you liked it!
I like this! I like the sound of the guitarish synth. The drums are too quiet in comparison to the rest of the song (to fix this, simply make the rest of the instruments a little quieter than the drums, and use an EQ to cut off high frequencies on the leads and the bass synth to allow more for room on the drums). The lead at 1:36 is too loud and starts clashing with a second lead at some point (i think these are Lead 1 and Lead 3 in your screenshot). The high synth chords (Lead 2) is being used a bit to liberally, and is dissonant at times. All of this makes the song sound crowded. Try panning the synths in different directions, as it'll help with them clashing with each other.
Hey, thank you so much for the feedback, that's a great idea, I'll try it next time, but thank you anyway!
This is a solid pokemon track! There are a lot of cool sounds in here but to agree with some of the other comments there may be too many trying to compete with eachother in the mix. The phaser synth bass part is a little overwhelming in my opinion. Later in the song at 1:10 you can feel the mix open up without it and there's a lot more space for the other instruments to breathe. One other thing that stuck out was a higher synth part that comes in around 0:45 which is in tune at first but around 0:49 it starts to become dissonant. I really liked the structure of the song though and the melody was pleasant to listen to, so nice job!
I'm glad to find it very similar to the Pokemon track, thank you very much for the feedback, I will work better next time!
This is cool. Lots of nice textures. Perhaps too many elements fighting for space at once, making the track murky and overcrowded. Personally, I'd reduce the amount of reverb, get a bit more liberal with the EQ, and push the drums forward in the mix a little to act as an anchor. It would give the piece more weight and focus.
Thank you so much for the feedback, thank you so much for the compliments, and again, thank you so much about the mixing; it will help me a lot with my learning in the next tracks I compose!
Sorry if that sounded too critical - I foolishly decided to comment on all 32 other submissions in one sitting, so I was a little worn out from Pokemon music overload haha. It's a really good piece!
This very reminiscent of the new style of pokémon battle music, good stuff. The melody has a upbeat, hopeful sound, which I kind of associate with the newer style. It makes the track very optimistic, which feels quite nice when listening. I think what I don't like is that all the synths are all super rich and full, it makes them all compete for attention. What I would do is pan the synths of similar frequency range opposite to each other, such as the two that play at 00:27. I'd also EQ spots such as the high end on the bass when other synths are present so the bass can play a primary support role during those sections. The lead at 00:14 I'd also EQ. I'd slightly reduce the high-mid area where the twinkly synth is playing so they each have their own space in the mix. But this is really cool so keep it up!
Thank you so much for the feedback, this will help me a lot with the next tracks I compose!
