really enjoyed this! gameplay loop is very fun, but it would've been nice to have a popup or something of the sort in game to keep track of which symbol means what

also loved the sfx they rounded out the experience perfectly

Interesting theme interpretation tackled with a cool game mechanic. The depth perception could use some work, and having the symbol identifiers for good and evil be available in-game would be great. Nice work overall.

Wow! the art and the SFX take the cake in this one. Though I only understood that it's good v/s evil. Giving it one more shot after reading the comments that I need to reject bad symbols and accept the good ones. Great work, though you can add instructions to Itch page about it.

Will add instructions on game page, thanks for that suggestion!

Edit: Instructions were added!

I too lacked all understanding of what it was, that I was actually doing. Other than that, sound design and visuals were solid.

I've added an Instructions section. Would love if you'd give it another go and let me know if it's clearer!

I tried again and got the hang of what I was supposed to do. An explanation of the UI in game would have been neat. I think that the indication of why or even what made a person evil could have been made clearer. :) I thought it was funny to "accept" people into hell :D

I would assume I missed something really obvious because I couldn't really understand what the basis of success and failure was. Other than that, the vibes and aesthetics of the game were on point.

Valid point that there could be abit more explaination about gameplay.

Your "computer" device up front has symbols that are good / evil. If any symbols light up as evil (broken heart,  devil horns, X, X eyes, or inverted cross) you need to accept the doll in hell. Otherwise if all symbols are good (heart, circle, plus, smile, and cross) you need to reject them.

Edit: I've updated the page with instructions aswell!

Stylish, atmospheric, and a little bit silly. I like it.

Really like the style of the game. Sometimes it's a bit hard to understand my location tho. Still pretty enjoyable

Agreed it can be a bit hard to understand the depth. It's meant to be similar to a real claw machine, but maybe could add some way to move your head to better see.
