Cool take on Megaman real nostalgic (and polished) visuals and sounds ^^
Unfortunately the controls were doing funny things to my brain, I somehow couldnt really coordinate shooting and jumping at the same time xD But Im sure this is on me
While this is a decent remake of Megaman, it doesn't really do anything new. I would've loved to see strange new ideas for a Megaman game, or a Megaman-like game that doesn't use the original IP. For what it is, you did a good job.
As a big fan of Megaman, im not really a fan of having taken the exact same assets. Otherwise the gameplay works even if there's a lack of feedbacks. Try adding juice to make your game better and more pleasant. It's all about the game juice ! Good work for one week.
The up arrow for jump is not very intuitive and when the character gets hurt, you should have added a hurt state and flinching. Nice game overall.
I will fix that after the jam :D
