The art looks awesome! The art direction's really strong. The gameplay's fun but movement felt a bit clunky sometimes with the small cooldown between movements, and it was a bit frustrating sometimes getting to the end of a level and realising I can't progress because I used whistles earlier in the level and there are enemies blocking the way. Other than that I enjoyed it a lot. Once again the art is lovely, and I enjoyed the soundtrack too.

My game uses a whistle to freeze enemies and they are capturable

This a really fun idea, and I was able to do several levels without getting bored or frustrated. My favorite choice is calling the power a "Toot". One specific thing would be to add some color or something to point out where the player is at the start because I was just pressing keys until I saw them move. Great game and fantastic audio as well!
I love the vibe! I was struggling to find the player during the levels though, I think it would have been nice to add some contrast between the MC and everything else. Had fun, even though you could complete the levels without using the freeze (I didn't get to the end though!)
thanks for playing! I was trying my best to figure out some kind of contrast, my inspiration for the art was like pokemon red and blue, but the only way I probably could have achieved that was probably with a following camera!
If you have any tips, I’d love to hear them!
I also found that using the freeze wasn’t entirely necessary, which is a concept that I liked, but that’s also why I added score to the game!
Thanks again for playing!
Really nice! Simple gameplay but efficient. I like how the randomness in the enemies path is making it quite unexpected in terms of gameplay. It took me a while to understand that I can kill enemies when you trigger the freeze.
Nice experience! Couldn't get to the end yet but will probably explore it more!
Cool game, a bit hard for me, not hard in gameplay, but because I'd lose to RNG when I was out of toots and I had to pass an enemy only for that enemy to immediately kill me. I played it four times already and I see there's a blue level I haven't reached yet. And I had to agree that I had a hard time finding where I was when the level started (and I died once because of that, an enemy rushed me and I lost before I could see where I was).
The art is awesome, that gameboy vibe is really cool and the gameplay is good too, it's just I'm having a bad day with RNG apparently :-(
Still, Good job!
You definitely got the gameboy vibe and look, it is very fun playing it. and by the way my high score is only 5000
I agree with everything Shimmerism said. I also really like the visuals for getting stomped on and stomping the other uhh... characters. It was a little hard finding the player character after levels changed but I don't what you can do about that if you're going for the gameboy look.
You found a way to somehow make killing children fun. Congrats!
Graphics are awesome! the characters remind me of the game icon for the flash version of binding of isaac.
Music is pretty catchy and I like how it slows down when time's frozen.
This is definitely one of my favorite games so far!
