Combat feels quite satisfying, with the autoaim and all the animations, but of course it's lacking in challenge or depth at this early stage.

I like the visuals.

Looking forward to playing it again, once more features are implemented.

Game ran very well. I liked the visuals a lot. The map has great atmosphere. There is something about these kinda "elemental dimension" world that I love. This felt like the "Forest dimension". Thecharacter controls very well on mouse an keyeboard. I tried playing with controller too, but there was no options to invert the camera axis, so I couldn't get used to it as it is. There is not much to do yet in the game, but it was quite fun to just jump arround, defeat enemies. So good job there.

The big enemy seems a bit janky. It kept popping in and out of existance.

One think that I found wierd is that, the character has a big sword, and yet we attack by shooting? I could not find a way to fire the Firebolt. The other habilities worked fine.

Good work so far!

Hehe yeah everything is janky and all the skills are ranged for now, I haven't figured out how i'm gonna deal with flying enemies if I give the characters a melee attack.

Thanks for playing, glad you liked the map and atmosphere.

no bad performance of crashes, but i did see some enemies disappear and reappear from time to time.
at first i thought it was some kind of LOD thing, but it also happened when they were close to me
beyond that, LMB LMB LMB LMB, are you going for a risk of rain 2 clone? i imagine it will have power ups and stuff beyond the endless horde of enemies, so it's too early to give proper suggestions

No crashes, and my PC is good enough that I couldn't notice perf issues. Very early on so idk what to say other than you're mostly cloning the basics of RoR2. I did notice that mana regens and enemy projectiles still move while paused.

I suppose one oddity is that the first boss type monster kept appearing and disappearing, can't tell if he was cloaking or if the model was bugging. I think it's intentional since I couldn't target him during that? But half of the combat was waiting for him to uncloak.

Keep up the good work.

Developer(+1)

Yea, right now it's basically a RoR2 clone. I added the pause recently so there's a bunch of bugs. And the enemies disappearing is also a bug with how terribly I coded the enemy movement. Thanks for trying the demo!

I tried playing the game with umu/proton on Linux but Unreal is an unstable piece of shit even under ideal conditions. The screenshots do look pretty cool, comes across a bit like Blood Omen 2.

Developer

That's completely messed up. Unfortunately I'm not very experienced with Linux, I assume packaging the game for Linux would fix most of these issues, I'll see what I can do in the future. Thanks!

walk in circles + mash M1 simulator

Developer(+1)

combat is very early, when it's done you'll have to mash at least one more button.

So far so good! I like the map, jank is temporary

Developer

thanks!

This is the first demo of this game, it's a very early prototype and is missing most content and has a lot of unfinished parts and placeholders.

If you try the demo, please let me know if you experience bad performance or crashes.
