this is amazing, can't believe it's your first game! it looks and sounds great, has a really great mechanic. love it :D checkpoints very much appreciated haha (though I get they're more necessary for the freeze mechanic than just a lifeline for bad gamers lol)

Wow awesome!! Everything is done so well and it was so fun figuring out different paths with the ability. Would love to see more of this!
Amazing art ! Very cool intepretation of the freeze theme. I feel like the fall speed is a bit high and a little coyote time would make the jump a bit less frustrating. But still very impressive work for a first game.
Very good, for the first ever game it's crazy impressive. I appreciate the frequent checkpoints, because I was spending a lot of attempts on some places (and usually giving up after a dozen of those and just spam frozen corpses to create a bridge). Graphics are very nice too. I like how when the credits roll you can see the point from where the snow is emmited lol
Funnily enough, this is also my first jam and game, and one of my original ideas when brainstorming at the start was pretty much exactly this lol. Loved it. I'll keep it in mind to play when you update it. Great job! I liked how there was an alternate, faster solution if you figured out earlier than you have to that you should use yourself to climb up a section (that sounds so obvious reading it back but I got caught up in using myself in the water because of how you introduce the mechanic). I was gonna say I'd like to be able to get rid of blocks (froze one on top of the first spawn point that was a bit annoying), but I see ur already planning on working on that.
Also loved the art!
I really like games where you cooperate with your past self, and I loved how this game made that idea feel like a natural part of its Freeze theme.
The background, realistic snow, and calm BGM all worked together to make Freeze something you could feel throughout the whole game.
I also liked that the game seemed to offer alternate solutions from time to time, which helped me keep playing all the way to the end. Thanks for making it
Awesome, can't believe this is a first for you! Definitely the best submission I have played of the 20 or so!
First ever game?!?! That was amazing! The art, the sounds choices, the mechanics...I don't typically play platformers but I really enjoyed this! Absolutely incredible first jam submission, great job!
I loved the art and was impressed by some of the visuals/ and mechanics. Like the fires lighting up for checkpoints when you make it there. Climbing worked great and art/music was peaceful and easy on the eyes. Nice cozy platformer!
Congratulations for your first game !
I had a great time trying to figure out how to move forward, and I love the amount of polish for such a short time.
Congrats again !
Wow it's gorgeous! Well done! For your first game jam you knocked it outta the park! Good luck on your developer journey!
I really like the way you used the freeze mechanic of the theme. It all felt very natural and smartly designed.
Really neat climbing mechanic and smooth platforming, ambient is also very warm ironically enough (because the poor guy must be freezing), good job!
This is great! Might be my favorite one so far. Showed my coworkers this morning too, and they liked it a lot! Good job! You should be proud
Nice little game ! The game fell of the he jump is a little bit heavy, but ontherwise the game is very good. I especially like your pixel art !
Great game! The graphics are great and the concept really hits it. It's a little bit creepy when you think of it of using your dead self to go through a level but otherwise, great idea! Tutorial is very efficient. I struggle quite a lot with the platforming but managed to get through it. I wish there was a way to destroy blocks because I softblocked myself -_-'. Also a nice addition would be to push the ice blocks. Congratulations!
I worried about the soft lock too but ran out of time 🤣 I def plan to release a small update adding some more levels, fixing the platforming and adding the ability to push the blocks around. I think I spent to long on misc things and didn’t focus enough on the actual gameplay, lessons learned though!
