I played your Trakmania-style game. The concept is a winning one, as the original game already demonstrates. But don't forget the immediacy and rapidity of continuous testing. The tracks are often too long and monotonous. The sound is missing, which is 80% of the perception of a game. The wheels don't slip, but get stuck. The same goes for the bumper, which gets stuck on the steps of the track. These are the main things that made me abandon the game prematurely. They are the things necessary to close the loop and consider it a game and not a development test.

Thank you for your feedback! I'm already working on an improved version! :)

i made it to the top of the huge ramp, not sure but i think that was the end. has a trackmania vibe to it.

the car looks great, and it handles well at low speeds, but at high speeds it gets too bouncy. That being said this looks like an old muscle car so that might actually be realistic. I also think it would be less of a problem (the bouncing) if you smoothed out the track. something i think that would really help is level select and a timer that saves your fastest time for the track. I did not have much issue keeping myself entertained even with that tough curve in the last level (a little more grip would have been nice right about then.) Sound effects, some track textures, they are not really necessary to make the gameplay fun but would help immersion.

slight bug when resetting it should remove velocity, sometimes it would throw me off the track immediately.

I think it is a little fun.

What I like:

- I do like driving the car on a track.

-The car is hard to handle and adds to the challenge. Reminds me of QWOP.

Problems:

- The stage design could be better. There is a problem with a level where you can't see that there is a ramp and you have to jump off it ahead of time. In general, sometimes it is difficult to see what is up ahead.

- Hard to see bumps in the road where the car can only pass through a small section.

- I can't really tell if the car is braking or not. Usually games shine a red light on the back to show that the car is breaking.

- I can't really tell if the car is boosting. The meter shows it is boosting, but looking at the car, it looks the same. Usually games show cool special effect happening on the car for this.

I wish there were some music or sound in this game. I played the linux version.

Note for playtesters:

I have only one question: "Is this fun at all?"

Please comment right here! Thank you so much!! <3

Its quite challenging. Couldnt make the big jump even with full load-up.
The car bounced too much and the rails made you get stuck sometimes.

It defenetly has a fun-factor.
But I think it needs some textures and sounds.

I also encountered a bug where I would just slip through the rails and fall down over and over again.
And also a slight visual-bug. Had to restarts it.

Thank you so much! I know, it has a lot to work on, just wanted to check, if it's worth the effort.
