I didn’t see the horse :( I reached an area with some eyes and waited around, but he never showed up

The evil ass horse of death and destruction.

I am unfortunately a little b; I died.

I died like a little B a couple of times. That horse picture was hilarious. I think adding cayote time would greatly improve the handling.

I liked how it was 'Meta' with the mix of mouse and keyboard controls + text in-world.

Art looks very good, especially with some parallex, vfx and animations added, this has great appeal.

Lacking a lot of polish such as volume control, sfx, death state, resolution scaling with menu + game 'edge', only works in fullscreen currently (I can see edge of game world when I jump)

Not my type of humor, but a short quirky platformer :)

Pros:

  • Menu music is great.
  • The backdrop of the forest looks really good.
  • Hiding the solution to the third level was a nice touch.

Cons:

  • Bit confused on the story / what was happening in general.
  • Not sure why the text was so aggressive towards the player.

Improvements:

  • Could have done with some world building, even if it was just a few lines of dialogue at the start to set the scene.
  • Jump sound would have been a nice touch.
  • Explanation as to why one button works over the other on the first level.

Overall a fun little game.

The game did not run unless I made it fullscreen. Then when I tried to play, I fell off the bottom of the map twice. When I made it to the eye, I clicked one and it said I died. The main carachter also only had an idle animation and no other indications of movement.

There was no mention of controls, no clear gameplay loop, and I did not understand how to progress. Also the game was a bit vulgar for my tastes. Could use some polish but it is the start of a 2d platformer.
