That's a very extensive cave system for something made in two weekends, which I think made scope grow way too much, especially since it seems you also did your own music. Cutting the size in half and spending more time on rounding out the experience would likely be more satisfying both for you and the players - even at the price of having to put a "This is a dead end, couldn't make more" sign after a few rooms (like I did :p).
You got a lot done in a tiny amount of time, kudos for that :).
I'm super impressed with what you were able to get done in what were mostly weekends. I really liked the office section in the middle of the cave, it got me thinking about the deeper story a lot more. The atmosphere was really well done and I loved the music. I'd be excited to see what you do now that this can be worked on as a free time project rather than one restricted by a time limit.
Thanks for the kind words! I do plan to continue working on the project since I found quite interesting mixing metroidvania elements in a horror cenario, but for now im gonna put it away for some weeks to recover from the slight burn out I got from it lol
Very good atmosphere, but a little rought around the edges. Good effort!
Cool game! I really like the Metroidvania aspect of it. The only problem I had was figuring out where I was on the map, I got pretty lost. Keep working on it, I think it has a lot of potential! Congrats on the entry! :D
I really liked the brutalist feel of the game, you really nailed the feeling of being in a dwarven mine. Because of that, it’s easy to get lost, even if the map isn’t that big.
In the end I really enjoyed the game and felt tense the whole time.
Good starter project, the sound design is really good, and the mines and dwarf look and feel great.
I got lost and couldn't find the power cable though.
